Unlike other companies AMA seems to rely heavily on contract directors/guides. Most days the group had no written itinerary which led to unnecessary confusion. Reasonable questions were often made to sound unwelcome. Several tours ended up being needy causes. Several in our group did not enjoy small bush planes with 1 engine & 1 pilot. on several flights couples were seated apart.

From the moment we call Shawn and Nancy we know that everything will be arranged for us personally. They have arranged many holidays for us. We always have an excellent room in a stable part of the ship, or river boat. They consider all our needs. Nothing is too much trouble for us. We benefit from their experience. If needed they will recommend areas and hotels to stay and excursions to take if we are planning extra time. If we want to travel we just email to Shawn and we are always amazed how fast he gets back to us with all the information and bookings. We have always had a good vacation thanks to him.
