When I talked with Bart Kramer. I told him I was totally new to cruising. He explained everything to me and the initial contact lasted for an hour. I told him about Advantage Services out of Las Vegas and how they were charging me almost 1800 for a interior room in the bottom of the ship. This was supposed to cost no more than 1200 with a special deal. Bart got us a veranda with balcony for around 1800. Bart kept in touch with us right up you the ?? date. We did miss the upgrade that Holland America was going to give us. Did not see his e mail until too late. Next time we will ask him to text us so we do not miss any upgrades. Not his fault

We would have awarded the highest score had we not had problems on our trip home. We missed out connecting flight in LHR because whoever booked it did not allow enough time for us to get from the arriving to the departing gate (only 45 minutes). This was insufficient because we had to go through security in London as well as Vienna. So we had a seven-hour layover. And our checked luggage did not make it on the flight home. It was delivered two days later.

Additionally, it was just a couple of minutes from St. Mark's Square, making it so, so convenient. He also made arrangements for a personal water taxi to take us from the Venice Airport to our hotel which was on a much smaller canal but two a couple of minutes from St. Mark's Square.
