I had booked a new resort that was supposed to open by our travel date, but as we approached our departure, it became clear that the resort would not be completed in time. She also changed our flights and arranged airport transfers to and from the resort. Her communication was prompt and her recommendations were excellent. I never even thought of using a TA, we recently moved to a new town, I saw a post about Shawn, a local TA, so I thought what do we have to lose. I contacted her and she immediately went to work getting info. Shawn new exactly where we needed to go! We were scheduled to go to Sandals, Montego Bay on May 8, for 10 days, Shawn took care of absolutely everything! On 5/5 we had a family tragedy. Shawn was our personal guide to a great vacation get away. She first helped us select our hotel after we decided on our destination, then booked our flights with little to no layover time, guided us thru the proper Chanel’s for Customs in the Dominican and back into the US that slide us past almost all others on the flight. We had an amazing time at Hyatt Zilara Cancún, all thanks to Shawn!! We were blown away by the ease of the entire trip. Everything was coordinated perfectly. We had a few bumps getting home, due to bad weather (by no fault of anyone) and Shawn was able to coordinate changing flights to get us home. She responded quickly when needed and even while we were on our flight, she had us booked to a new flight by the time we landed. It could not have been an easier trip!! She put in a lot of time making sure we were able to get home safely and in the planning process. My husband and I were so impressed with everything and will definitely be reaching out to Shawn for future travel plans!!

What can I say????? I can say don’t plan another vacation on your own. I told Shawn exactly what I was looking for and what my budget was and the vacation was booked!!! It was the easiest process ever. And the day we were boarding our Christmas cruise we had questions and she answered them immediately (keep in mind I tried calling Royal Caribbean myself and they couldn’t figured it out). There was no stress at all, I had options and once I selected what I wanted it was a done deal. Back to the reality of December in Indiana after a great trip to Excellence Playa Mujeres in Cancun ?????????THANK YOU, Shawn, for the recommendations and planning details!! We got there and back without any hiccups and felt we were able to take advantage of everything the resort had to offer.

This was our second trip working with Shawn, and once again, she made the entire experience absolutely seamless from start to finish. We were originally scheduled to travel to Secrets St. Lucia in January 2025, but when the resort’s opening was delayed, Shawn immediately stepped in and worked directly with Secrets to transition our trip to the Dominican Republic instead. She handled every detail, rebooking, accommodations, and transfers, making what could have been a stressful situation feel effortless on our end. Then, mid-2025, Shawn reached back out with incredible news: she had arranged for us to receive a complimentary trip to Secrets St. Lucia for the same length of stay as our original booking. Thanks to her diligence and advocacy, we were able to take that trip in January 2026, and once again, the process couldn’t have been easier because Shawn managed everything. One of the standout moments was her recommendation to take the ferry from the airport to the resort due to the road conditions. That suggestion alone elevated our experience; the ferry ride felt like an excursion in itself, and it’s something we never would have known to do without her guidance. Shawn truly goes above and beyond. She is responsive, detail-oriented, mindful of budget, and fully committed to creating the most magical travel experiences possible. We trust her completely and will continue to use her for all of our travel needs. We cannot recommend Shawn highly enough; she is simply the best!

10/10 would recommend Shawn to anyone!!! She helped us book a trip for 11 people to Cancun. We were doing so much research on which resort we wanted to go to, and I found Shawn on Reddit. I don't know how we would've chosen a resort, let alone BOOK for all of our friends without her. She made the process so smooth. She sent me info to send to our friends, and they went right to her to make their reservations. She made sure our rooms were close to one another and took care of all of the communication. This was our first Virgin Cruise and our second cruise ever. We had a great time mixing both relaxation time in our room and balcony to the dinners and entertainment later in the evenings. The ocean days were highly welcomed as we needed that time to relax and take in some sun on the Perch deck! There really isn't anything negative that I can remember on this trip...it was that good! Highly recommend Shawn Stokes for the planning and the trip. She answered all of our newbie questions and the time to reply was quite impressive, she was quick and on spot! I know it can sound “old fashioned” to use a travel agent, but using Shawn has been the absolute best decision I’ve made recently! Just in general she’s a great person! She’s saved me so much money and time. I have a bit of an issue just planning everything down to the last detail, and even when I do that, she executes everything to a T. Just this year we’ve booked 3 cruises, a Europe trip, and a pre cruise trip to Canada. She is very knowledgeable, about all destinations! She is someone you want in your corner for all your vacation needs!
