The city's pulse was right outside our door, with crowds of people, towering skyscrapers, and street food and restaurants on every corner. Arigato, Tokyo—you stole our hearts!

So, me and my crew decided to spice up our Kyoto trip with a quick stop to Osaka, and let me tell you, it was off the hook. We kicked things off with a bullet train ride from Kyoto to Osaka. Dotonbori was like Times Square on steroids. We chowed down on takoyaki (octopus balls) like there was no tomorrow—seriously addictive.

Thanks to Luis's help, our Kyoto adventure was off the charts. Those castles and gardens were next level, and we're already plotting our next trip with his mad planning skills. If you going to visit Fushimi Shrine is best to go in the morning, no tourists.
