Our week in Negril at The Riu Palace was very good indeed. The only disappointment was that access to the 7 Mile beach was cut off by a new hotel being built on the tip of Bloody Bay where we stayed. It was a $20 U.S. cab ride return and only 10 minutes to the town of Negril but it would have been nice to walk the beach and meet more locals and see other accommodation. Walking on the very busy main road was not recommended it was hot and we seniors don't dodge cars quickly enough. We did have a lovely time and it was very relaxing, recommended for families, young and old. We may try it again next year but stay at the new hotel.

Lalit was very quick to help us book this vacation package to the Cozumel Allegro resort. We asked him about the scuba diving accommodation and diving packages. He booked us in less than 30 minutes and we were content to know that there was room for us during March 13th to 20th. He provided us with a confirmation email one month (February 12th) with our booking number and the flight details to check over and feel relieved.The only issue that came up on a trip last year to Veradero, Cuba was that we were not told that the Cuban airports routinely forces arriving and departing passengers to wait in long lineups at the air terminals for up to two hours. We want details like that to be explained to customers before finalizing a trip/vacation purchase.
