excellent experience booking our trip to Europe

Please not we will not be taking our trip to Australia until November of 2018. I put in Australia/New Zealand even though we are only going to Australia as that was not one of the choices. We have been working with Annette for the better part of January. We have enjoyed working with her. Annette has been so helpful and has been so professional.
We had a lot of questions, concerns and changes when we started working with her. We did not know anything about her. We found her on the internet. From her profile and picture and talking her we knew that we had picked the best. I would recommend her anyone that is planning a trip and needs an agent. She seems so knowable and what she dose not know for sure she always said she would find out and get back to us.

I am sure we will be talking to her a few times before we leave on our trip and we look forward to working with her again.

Annette Cagle worked with us from start to finish with our extraordinary trip to Disneyworld. We had never been so her expertise was really needed. We stayed in a fantastic resort in Disneyworld which had a view of a lake and the fireworks nightly from our Veranda. Thanks to her planning we were able to see and do everything we had hoped to do.

Last weekend when flights were cancelled, our son was stranded in Washington, DC following a week away at a biotech camp. Since Annette Cagle had made his reservations, I took the chance that I could catch her in the office on a Saturday, which luckily was the case. She dropped the work she was doing and promptly got Austin booked on the next appropriate return flight. When I texted him, he was greatly relieved and so were we. He arrived home safely the next day. Annette made it so much easier for us to help him.

Annette was very helpful in getting our trip booked. She gave us several options for different cruise lines and ports of call. Once we made the decision on which cruise, she took care of everything. She booked the trip, the transfers, arranged very affordable trip insurance and told us exactly what we needed to do. She even printed all our documents and prepared luggage tags for each of our bags. She was able to get us the room we wanted and on the deck we wanted. It was central to everything on the ship. She suggested we get "transfers" and boy am I glad we did. It was flawless and stress free. The trip was great fun and relaxing for all of us. There were so many activities and shows on the cruise. Being on the ship for New Years Eve was extra special, there was something for everyone.
It was a great trip for all of us and I would do it all over again!

I have wanted to visit Greece since my college days when I took a Greek history course. Also, I had been wanting to plan a special trip to share with my daughter. Annette found a trip to satisfy both. We cruised 5 Greek islands, from Athens to Athens, on the Windstar. The Windstar is a smaller ship with only 144 passengers & 101 crew members. Due to its size, we were able to visit beautiful islands that larger cruise ships can not. On two different occasions while anchored, we had a great experience. The platform on the back of the ship was opened & we were able to swim & kayak in the clear, beautiful water of the Aegean Sea,

Annette was great in helping us plan our vacation to punta Cana. Even when we needed to change resorts, she was helpful and accommodating. We will continue to use her to plan on vacations.

I am a repeat client of Annette's. For 10 years she has planned various trips for me and my family. My son lives in Armenia with his girlfriend and it was time to meet her family, so I called Annette for her to work her magic. She admitted that she didn't know too much about Armenia, but, boy, did she learn! She found out about wineries, archeological digs, and tours of monasteries that supplemented our family visit to make it an outstanding vacation. Ten years ago, Annette planned an exciting trip to England and Scotland for my family. My three sons were all Harry Potter fans, so seeing the movie set outside of London along with all the usual must-see things was crucial. In Scotland, she planned for us to take the train Harry and Ron take to Hogwarts, along with the loch where events were held near Inverness, then a ghost tour in Edinburgh and a drive to see some things on my bucket list. It was supposed to be perfect. I had never bought travel insurance before, but Annette insisted it was a great idea travelling with five people. Well. teenaged boys can wreak havoc on travel plans, and sure enough, one of my boys broke his leg so badly in an accident in London on day four of our trip that we never made it to Scotland. Annette went into action. She canceled our plans in Scotland for us, flights and all, and coordinated with the insurance company to get us moved to a hotel right next to the hospital. The insurance paid for everything since it covered each person's expenses. My husband and other two sons stayed for two more days and then flew home. I stayed with my son in an executive apartment while he had the physical therapy needed to be able to fly. Insurance even paid for our first class tickets home! It was the best travel advice I'd ever received and I will never travel without insurance again. But it was how genuinely concerned Annette was for my son and my family over the years that has kept me coming back to her for other trips again and again. She's even on my Christmas card list! One day, I hope to make it to Tennessee to actually meet her in person.

Annette booked us on the Allura for late January trip from Miami. But we wanted to see friends in Ft.L. first so she set up the flights to FLL and arranged private car transportation down to Miami before the cruise then back to FLL afterwards. All worked out perfectly like clockwork. She even suggested a cab from FLL to our hotel rather than the hotel shuttle. Another great idea as my wife uses a wheelchair. Annette also said that we would enjoy staying at El Tovar, located on the south rim of the Grand Canyon. This hotel is over 100 years old and was very worth the one night stay. He had no issues with anything concerning these flights & she booked. Thoroughly enjoyed the Yellowstone National Park and Tetons. All travel accommodations were selected to make our travel easy.

We arrived at Annette’s office with a post-it note of desired sights and our dreams of Paris. From there Annette designed the perfect 8 days for us. First we checked into our exquisite, boutique hotel. Every person on that staff welcomed us with a smile and lovely hospitality every day! Our Itinerary: A personalized 7 hour guided tour by train, bus, and walking for an overview of the city (including Sacre Coeur, Arc de Triomphe, Notre Dame, Champs Elysees, and so much more) A bus trip to Normandy beaches, the American Cemetery, and the Eiffel Tower A personalized, guided tour of Musee D’Orsay A guided, skip the line tours of The Louvre A guided tour of Versailles, Gardens and the Trianon A Seine River dinner cruise that featured the Eiffel Tower’s twinkling lights Our trip was magical and perfectly planned. Many, many thanks to Annette for her attention to detail and her willingness to be so supportive of our expectations!

This lady's trip was an exciting adventure. Annette arranged our stay at the Hotel Montalembert, a charming hotel with excellent and attentive staff. Our guide around the city was knowledgeable and took us to the places we asked to see. Normandy was indeed a long day. Our guide did not do much to enhance the visit. Jessica our guide at d'Orsay was fabulous. We had one hiccup at the Louvre. We assumed the address given was the entrance, but it was not. The tour company called me, and we finally met up. As advised, the place is huge and seeing the Mona Lisa was anti-climactic. We asked to go, and I can say I've been there. We enjoyed Versailles, and our guide was great. Of course, the highlight was the Seine Dinner Cruise and the twinkling lights of the Eiffel Tower. All of flights were on time, and we had no issues in the airports. It was Paris. No other words to describe. And Annette did a stellar job accommodating our wants and needs.

Annette was such a help from the very beginning. We had never traveled overseas and had a lot of questions. Ireland had been on our list for a very long time. Annette listened to what we thought we wanted and then started suggesting options and alternatives. She placed us with an excellent guide that had great knowledge of Irish history and culture. He, too, inquired of us our interest and structured our days accordingly. He understood the timetables of tour buses and helped place us to minimize crowds. Annette put us in hotels that were great and convenient to dinner, music and shopping. It was a completely stress-free couple of weeks. We are now trying to decide where to go next year and Annette will get a call soon to get started.

Review of Victory Cruise Lines – Victory II We just returned from our cruise on Victory Cruise Lines aboard Victory II and what an absolute hidden jewel the Great Lakes are! We had a spectacular trip — perfect weather, and the fall leaves were just beginning to change. Highlights: Mackinac Island and Niagara Falls were my personal favorites. Other stops included Chicago, Escanaba, Sault Ste. Marie, Detroit, Cleveland, and Toronto. Onboard Experience: The staff were outstanding (A+++), always attentive to every need. The Lakelorian educational program on the Great Lakes was excellent. Craft sessions were available during sea days, which was a nice touch. Excursions at each port were very well organized. Notes for Travelers: Niagara Falls required a several-block hike on uneven pavement — something to keep in mind for elderly or mobility-limited travelers. The passenger mix was mostly active older adults with a few elderly guests. My husband found the food a bit bland (he’s from the South and likes bold flavors), but the staff went above and beyond to accommodate him with red pepper and chili flakes. Final Thoughts: This was a wonderful cruise experience, and I highly recommend it for anyone interested in exploring the beauty and history of the Great Lakes.

Met with Annette for the first time a year ago. We ran her in circles because we weren't sure where we wanted to go. No problem for her, She had an answer at every turn. Finally settled on Oceania for 11 day Carribean in 2025. Booking was a breeze. Got the cabin we wanted, a pre stay hotel and transfers. In the ensuing 11 months, we had questions but Annette always had answers from where to park at BNA to how getting wheelchairs worked. Long story short, we just got back from a trip of a lifetime and thanks to Annette it's one we'll always remember. p.s. She even took care of a problem that arose after the trip. She's the best!!

My husband and I were meeting up with our daughter in Franklin, Germany to travel around Germany then Italy, but we were having a hard time finding a oneway ticket home for our daughter that was not $4,000 dollars. What seems like a simple task, renting a car in Ireland, quickly turned into a quagmire consisting of insurance deductibles, transmission choices, questions of whether the wheels and windshield were covered, where best to pick it up, etc. etc. ad nauseum, ad infinitum. I can't say enough about the service Annette provided us on the Alaska cruise we booked with her. This booking began back in 2019 and due to Covid it was cancelled 2 different times. We finally were able to enjoy the cruise in May of 2022. Needless to say from the first cancellation in May of 2020 to our return trip after the cruise on May 28, 2022 there were numerous times that we needed Annette to assist with issues. From cancelled excursions with an outside service, adjustments and additional benefits on the cruise, day of travel cancelled flights, lost luggage and filing claims with our travel insurance Annette was always there, including after hours, to answer any questions and provide the much needed help to get us through this at times challenging experience. None of these issues we encountered had anything to do with the services Annette provided for us on this cruise. I would highly recommend using Annette and her professionalism for any travel you are looking to schedule.

We had been working with another Travel agent for about a month and could not get any information or follow up from her. In frustration one day we walked into Annette's office at Brandywine Travel about a month before our cruise. It was unbelievable the difference. She took us back to her desk and started asking questions on what we wanted. We explained what we were looking for and that was pretty good list as this was our grown kids first cruise. She did not get on the internet like most agents but she called Carnival and talked to a live person. Because of this she was able to get all three of the rooms on the floor we wanted in the aft area. She was able to also find my wife and I a better cabin with a much larger balcony than we had asked for at almost the same price. We booked the cruise on the spot. With most agents we have dealt with that would have been the end of our communication. This was not the case with Annette. We got regular emails from her following up on several items we had talked to her about. Then one day I get I get a call and they said we had a package. We stopped by not knowing what it was. She had checked all of us in with Carnival and printed all of our boarding passes and luggage tags. This was a great surprise as with the four other cruises we had been on we had to do this ourselves. As you can see I am a big fan of Annette as she made the logistics of our fantastic cruise very easy. If you are looking for a travel agent, you should definitely use her, I know my family will.

I have wanted to visit Greece since my college days when I took a Greek history course. Also, I had been wanting to plan a special trip to share with my daughter. Annette found a trip to satisfy both. We cruised 5 Greek islands, from Athens to Athens, on the Windstar. The Windstar is a smaller ship with only 144 passengers & 101 crew members. Due to its size, we were able to visit beautiful islands that larger cruise ships can not. On two different occasions while anchored, we had a great experience. Ms Annette helped me plan and book a cruise for my (step)daughter and myself back in February. She helped me figure out exactly what documentation I would need since my husband is currently deployed. Once we had that all wrapped up, I decided to throw another curveball at her. We received our foreign exchange student two weeks prior to our cruise. A phone call to Ms Annette with my new request of getting a stateroom to accommodate three folks was placed. She immediately went into action. Our ship was booked solid so we started looking at changing ships and itineraries. Right before I made the decision to swap ships, she called me and said "get me the student's passport number now, a suite just opened up!" She got that taken care of and went to work on the airfare and managed to get that accomplished as well. Then the real fun began....what documentation does one need to take a J1 Visa student out of the country?!?! Unfazed, she said "I don't know, let me research and call you back!". Working together, we figured it all out and I left for Port Canaveral armed with any and everything Port Authority folks could ask for. Mission accomplished, right? Nope, hello hurricane Matthew! Our ship left port on time and we had a fabulous week cruise, but we were very delayed coming back into port causing us to miss our flights home. Not to worry she says, we got this. Once we were off the ship, there was transportation to the hotel and our new flights for the next day were already booked. All this on a Saturday afternoon/evening! She communicated with me along the way and just kept saying "you enjoy the cruise, I got this side of it". I truly was able to enjoy those final days instead of scrambling like other folks in the same boat ;) I cannot recommend Ms Annette highly enough. All of our vacations will continue to be planned through her. The peace of mind is invaluable.

We had planned to leave on a Tauck Family Bridges River Cruise followed by a few days in Zurich. Annette Cagle of Brandywine Travel did all of the booking. We wanted to get the most out of our trip, particularly for our 14 year old son, who had never been to Europe, so I spent a great deal of time with Annette by phone and e-mail, trying to get every detail of the river cruise, what we needed to bring, what we could see on our stops, etc., then to get a locally owned four star hotel in Zurich in the Old City, so that he and my wife could have the best possible experience and exposure to what Zurich and Lucerne had to offer. Annette never got impatient, and gave me 2-3 hour turnaround on every request, found exactly the type of hotel we wanted in Zurich, tours which would let us see the Alps as well as the city, etc. She never lost patience with my numerous questions, was friendly, courteous and ultra-informative - and has a great sense of humor!. Unfortunately, the day before we were to leave, I was diagnosed with a pulmonary embolism, so we had to cancel the trip as it would have been fatal for me to fly. My wife called Annette from the hospital when it was diagnosed, and she cancelled all the arrangements - showing only concern about me and disappointment for us, not frustration at having to cancel a trip on which she had worked so hard and long. Because Annette had insisted that we have trip insurance, we got back every cent of the air fare, river cruise cost, and tour costs in Switzerland, within six weeks. We may be frustrated that the trip had to be cancelled, but thanks to Annette, we have the resources to rebook it as soon as I am given the green light to travel by my physician.
