How a Travel Agent Saved My Sanity (and Presley’s Birthday Trip!)

You know those moments where you’re so sure you’ve got everything handled until you suddenly realize you absolutely do not? Yep, that was me yesterday. For Presley’s birthday this year, he decided he wanted to go Universal Orlando’s brand-new Epic Universe. He’s been talking about it nonstop since his last birthday, and I could already picture his little face lighting up walking through the park.
Well, silly Mommy here made one tiny mistake… I didn’t think they’d get booked up on a random weekday in October. Spoiler: they did. Fully. Booked. For the entire week.
Cue the panic.
I called, refreshed, re-checked nothing. My heart sank thinking I’d have to tell my sweet boy his birthday trip might not happen after all and we were already in Florida. That’s when I called my go-to travel lifesaver: Betty Harrell with Kingdom and Cruise Travel.
Within minutes of explaining my mini-meltdown, Betty swooped in like a Disney fairy godmother with a headset. ? 10 Year Anniversary Vacation!

My wife and I have only used our passports once, so I knew I needed help for booking a 10 year anniversary trip. I had every question and concern under the sun and Betty had all the answers!
She gave me options on probably 10 different resorts, was patient with me when I couldn’t decide what we were doing, and helped coordinate so we could be in the same spot at the same time to meet up with family. Working with Betty was a breeze plus she’s super kind. Definitely can’t go wrong booking through her!!

Great cruise.. la petit on celebrity is not to be missed..
Do not use your credit cards in costa maya.. they rip you off and over charge. Without giving you a receipt. Cash only.. but this was not our travel agents problem.. it is a lesson learned. And an expensive one as well.. everything Betty did was spectacular.

First trip to Disney World

Betty planned our first trip to Disney world with our 2 year old daughter and she has made it the best experience. We would not have been able to do this on our own.
