The Calla Lily has always been my favorite flower. It is unique, beautiful, durable, and long lasting. Twenty one years ago, I chose the name "Calla" to represent a company of strength and elegance. Then, while daydreaming one day, I noticed that the letters of my business name "Calla" are the initials of my children... I smiled-Kismet! My love for travel follows only the love I have for God and for my children....Channing, Ariella, Lexi Love, and Alanna.  My greatest gift to them has and will continue to be the world  of travel-the discovery, exploration and adventure around our planet. I am honored to plan so many types of vacations for my clients from River Cruising to Europe, the Caribbean and beyond. My favorite realm is Romance Travel and Destination Weddings. To fabulously arrange a Destination Wedding, a Travel Advisor needs an extensive background in both Travel AND Wedding Planning. I have built my career in equal pursuit.  I hold certifications in the Destination Wedding/Honeymoon realm. I am a Sandals Specialist, Vegas Specialist, and Cruise Specialist. I am certified as an Event Coordinator through NBS (National Bridal Service), earned my Wedding Planner Accredited status in 2012 and have coordinated over 800 weddings and events in my career; including those for professional athletes, military dignitaries, and other public figures. For three years, I was the Pennsylvania State Director for the Association of Bridal Consultants, the world’s largest wedding planning organization. I received a scholarship and finished with highest honors from the University of Kansas. I studied Theatre, Stage Production, and Direction at Stirling University in Great Britain. I managed a national dance troupe, was a cheerleader for the NFL, and hosted my own radio show at the top of Airthrey Castle in Scotland. After formal education, I began my events career in the fields of Public Relations and Marketing and have worked for the NFL, NHL, AFL, and the WB Network. My weddings and events have been featured in dozens of newspapers and magazines. I have taken part in numerous radio and television appearances, and have a passion for public speaking. I am a senior member of ABC being specifically and professionally trained for twenty one years through national wedding planning seminars and other event planning education and wedding coordinator workshops. I am active in ASTA (American Society of Travel Advisors) and DWHSA (Destination Wedding & Honeymoon Specialists).
