Aloha! I have had the pleasure of exploring some of the world’s most captivating destinations, but it was in Maui and Lanai that I discovered true paradise. From the moment I set foot on these enchanting Hawaiian islands, I was captivated by their natural beauty, rich culture, and warm hospitality.

The Wailea Beach Resort in Maui is the epitome of luxury and relaxation. With its breathtaking oceanfront location, luxurious amenities, and cultural experiences, it promises an unforgettable time in one of Maui’s most beautiful destinations. From the moment you arrive to the moment you depart, you’ll be treated to the utmost hospitality and surrounded by natural beauty, ensuring that your Maui vacation is nothing short of spectacular.

The resort offers stunning oceanfront views, allowing guests to wake up each morning to the sound of crashing waves and the sight of golden sand beaches. You’re greeted by the warm and friendly staff, who adorn your neck with fragrant and colorful flower leis. To quench your thirst from the journey, a glass of refreshing POG juice, made from a blend of passion fruit, orange, and guava, is handed to you.

Once settled into your spacious and elegantly designed room, it’s time to explore the resort’s many amenities. The resort’s highlight is undoubtedly the Te Au Moana Lu’au, a mesmerizing cultural experience showcasing the Polynesian heritage through music, dance, and storytelling. The lu’au features live music, hula dancers, and fire knife performers, all while you indulge in a feast of island delights such as kalua pork, mahi-mahi, poke, and haupia. The lively atmosphere, vibrant colors, and delicious cuisine create an unforgettable experience that immerses you in Hawaiian culture. (You get to join a hula dance class if you are bold!)

Spend the day relaxing at one of the multiple pools, including an adults-only pool, a giant infinity pool with a panoramic ocean view, and the family pool with a thrilling water slide. Lounge chairs, umbrellas, and cabanas are scattered around the poolside, providing the perfect spot to soak up the sun and enjoy a cold drink from the swim-up bar.

For a change of pace, venture into the town of Wailea, where you’ll find high-end shops, art galleries, and world-class restaurants. End your day with a sunset stroll along the shoreline, savoring the cool ocean breeze and the mesmerizing views of the night sky.

Lanai is accessible only by ferry or plane, and we ferried on the Lana’i Expeditions (I recommend the lovely one-hour cruise!). From the moment I set foot on the island, I knew I was in for an extraordinary experience, and the Four Seasons Resort is where luxury reached new heights. This secluded paradise offered a sanctuary of serenity, surrounded by lush tropical gardens and pristine beaches.

Take a long walk on the lush path down to the beach, or if cocktails and delicious food are your jam, hang out all day at the amazing lagoon-style free-form central pool with a cascading waterfall and two whirlpools! - where you are catered to your every whim by an amazing staff.

Exploring Lanai was an adventure in itself. We embarked on exhilarating zipline tours through the lush forests, feeling an adrenaline rush soaring above the treetops. Snorkeling in the crystal-clear waters revealed a vibrant underwater world teeming with colorful coral reefs and tropical fish. And, of course, no trip to Lanai would be complete without savoring the island’s incredible culinary delights.
