COUNTRIES VISITED:At Sea, Bahamas, Florida
PLACES VISITED:Caribbean Sea, Castaway Cay, Nassau, Port Canaveral, Walt Disney World
SUGGESTED DURATION:10 Days
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa has become known as the celebration Deluxe Resort at Walt Disney World. It did not disappoint for us whether the relaxing pools, the very close proximity to Disney's Magic Kingdom (via walking, boat ride or monorail ride), the restaurants and lounges, the overall theming and relaxing, tranquil environment. During our stay we used Disney's transportation to visit both Disney's Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom. After 3 nights, we used Disney Cruise Line's bus transportation to Port Canaveral to board the Disney WISH for its 4 night cruise to the Bahamas and Castaway Cay. Upon the completion of the cruise, we once again used Disney Cruise Line's bus transportation to take us to Disney's BoardWalk Resort for our last three nights. While staying at the BoardWalk, we walked to both Disney's EPCOT and Hollywood Studios theme parks. We have links to the videos from our You Tube Channel about many of our adventures. Enjoy! -

We used Disney buses to take us from Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa to Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park and back. We arrived early to avoid the crowds. We were able to take in Avatar Flight of Passage, Kilimanjaro Safaris, Expedition Everest - Legend of the Forbidden Mountain, DINOSAUR, and Finding Nemo: The Big Blue and Beyond! attractions, plus of course a Dole Whip. After returning to our villa and changing, we then dined at Narcoossee's restaurant which was wonderful. Our third day saw get in some exercise, me at the gym and Nancy for a run around Seven Seas Lagoon visiting all of the so called 'monorail resorts'. After a delicious brunch we relaxed pool side at the Courtyard Pool. This was followed by using the monorail to take us to Disney's Magic Kingdom for a light meal at Casey's Corner, a few rides like the Haunted Mansion, saw the parade, strolled through Fantasyland, etc. We ended our time at Disney's Magic Kingdom by watching Wishes fireworks extravaganza followed by the Post Fireworks Dessert Party.
