LETS GO TO JAPAN!

Japan holds a very special place in my heart and is the destination that I get so excited to help plan that I always start putting together my own trip to Japan!

I lived in Japan for two years when I was in my early 20s and speak fluent Japanese.  After returning from Japan, I was a tour guide in Los Angeles for Japanese tourists visiting the USA on their honeymoons.    These early years learning to love and appreciate the Japanese culture, language and the people has left me with a deep interest in and appreciation for Japan.

I still follow Japanese news organizations and follow along with current events in Japan and maintain many friendships with people in Japan these many years.

Over the years I have been back to Japan several times and have helped friends and family put together many trips.     Since becoming a travel agent, I have been able to put together many custom vacations where the clients have "self-toured" and I have access to many tour providers that provide small group tours and/or larger tours.

I have developed relationships with specific tour companies that specialize in vacations that are more active in nature.    There are some fantastic bike tour companies that do escorted bike tours through amazing scenery, hiking and adventure companies that arrange hikes throughout the country and of course, you can hike Mt. Fuji.

I have also recently make a connection with a company that specializes in ski vacations to Japan, which is famous the world over for the quality and depth of it's powder snow.    I went to Japan twice in 2025!!   Once in January with 12 friends and our adult boys and we went all over Tokyo, Nagano and spend a week skiing the deepest powder of my life outside of Nagano at Shiga Kogen.   We also saw the amazing Snow Monkeys.   It was a great adventure for sure.    Then, in early May I went with my wife and three other couples and we went to Tokyo, Hiroshima and Kyoto.   We went to a Baseball Game that was an amazing experience and we saw and did so much, it was a fantastic trip and a great time with my wife.

I love Japan and after you have gone to Japan you will too!
