Skiing in Zermatt

I have been skiing since 1980 and have done everything I can to ski as often as possible.

Through college I worked at Snowbird Ski Resort and have always had a season pass to maximize my skiing fun.   

As our children grew, we started going on ski vacations (even though we lived in a very well known ski state with the "Greatest Snow on Earth").    Every year we went to a different part of the Western United States and have had amazing times at resorts in California, Nevada, Montana, Idaho, Washington, Wyoming and Colorado as well as closer to home in Utah.    I have all the inside scoop an just about every ski resort in the Western United States and also skied in Austria when I was in college.

About a decade ago, I started heading out of the Country.   We have gone skiing in Switzerland, France, Italy and Austria and have my eyes on a few other European spots.    I have been skiing in Chile 4 times now and it is fantastic leaving the heat of summer in North America and skiing in July or August in the Southern Hemisphere.

I am leading a ski trip to Japan in January-February of 2025!!

However, when I was looking at guided ski tours, many of them just focused on the time skiing, so I have put together custom trips each time because it seems crazy to me that you would go all the way to Europe and not add in some amazing sights.   Plus, in the winter, many of the sights are less crowded and just have a more relaxed atmosphere.   

I love putting together custom itineraries for ski trips around the world where you can combine your desire to ski in amazing destinations and see bucket-list sights like Rome, Santiago, Tokyo, Paris, Vienna, Munich etc etc.
