What is the best time to visit?

France is an all year destination. Peak season is the summer months of June, July and August which are hot and hectic with many tourists visiting. It’s a time for summer events and markets. The months of April to May and September to October is the best time to plan your trip.  Weather is pleasant and there are fewer crowds.  Be mindful in August, most of the country closes down for their vacation.

What foods or drinks should you try?

Typical plates that must be tried are crepes, the baguette, ratatouille, onion soup, butter, cheese and the macaron. Popular drinks are Pastis, wine and champagne.
