About Me

First let me say this: I love traveling with my daughter, and think that family vacations are incredibly important in creating lifelong memories for your children. 

Now let me say this: Getting away with your spouse/partner is also incredibly important, and sometimes it is okay to LEAVE THE KIDS AT HOME. 

I am a huge advocate for adult-only, kid-free couples vacations. In my own experience, being able to have that time to enjoy each other and focus on each other has always been a great recharge for my marriage. No words can describe how much it means for us to be able to sit down, eat a meal, or even enjoy a simple conversation with NO distractions. No chores waiting to be done, no kids needing attended to, no animals needing taken care of, no work. Just you and your loved one, and not a care in the world (at least for a few days). 

Whether it's a relaxing beach destination and sipping a drink by the beach, or letting out your inner child and taking an adult-only trip to Disney or Universal (that's right, YOU get to pick all the rides, and you don't have to share your snacks!). Make that time, go on the getaway, and leave the kids at home. 

You deserve it. You earned it. The kids will be okay.
