There are truly not enough words to express how grateful we are for Tanisha Woods from Liz Moore Weddings. Tanisha had planned my parents’ wedding in Cancun in January 2024. Going into our own wedding, I already knew how special she was, but she still managed to exceed every expectation we had. Our wedding on August 8, 2025 at Grand Fiesta Americana Los Cabos was as smooth and joyful because of her. From the very beginning, she was always there and always checking in, answering questions, guiding us through decisions, and most importantly, reassuring us. We had busy schedules; my husband was in medical school and I was in the middle of pharmacy residency. There were so many moments where wedding planning could have felt overwhelming, but Tanisha never let it feel that way. She made time for us no matter how busy life got, and always met us with patience, kindness, and honesty. She is incredibly knowledgeable and gave us so many thoughtful options. What meant the most was how much she genuinely cared not just about us, but about our families and guests. We had over 50 people traveling, and she treated every single one of them with such warmth and attentiveness. She made sure accommodations, itineraries, and every detail were handled so no one felt lost or stressed. Tanisha kept us on track with deadlines in a way that felt supportive, not overwhelming, and constantly reminded us of the importance of this moment in our lives. Looking back, what stands out the most is the sense of peace she gave us. We were able to fully enjoy our wedding experience because we trusted her completely. We will always be so thankful for her and everything she poured into our wedding. She is not just amazing at what she does, but she’s also an incredible person, and we feel so lucky to have had her by our side!

We wanted a small wedding in paradise, and Tanisha helped us bring that to life. Tanisha guided us through the entire process from start to finish, and for that we are so grateful. We started planning for our March 2026 wedding back in May 2025 and from the first call I had with Tanisha I could tell that she truly loves what she does and pours her heart into it. I told her what our overall vision was, the things we wanted and didn't want, our guest number and budget. From there she was able to curate a list of resorts that fit our needs and vision and we ended up going with Excellence Playa Mujeres off that list. Amazing resort which really made our wedding, honeymoon and vacation unforgettable. Anytime I had any question, I knew I could reach out to Tanisha and she was always super quick to respond and help me with the answers. There is so much unknown traveling to a different country, let alone having a wedding in a different country, but she made it all so easy for us! Throughout the months prior to the wedding she sent timely reminders to us and helped monitor the planning with the resort itself which was very helpful and put me at ease. We had some last minute changes and situations literally a week before our travel and Tanisha really helped us through all of that. It could have been a really stressful situation but having her in our corner really eliminated all of that which was amazing. Tanisha checked in with us once we arrived at the resort, after the wedding and after our trip which we appreciate so much. The entire time she was the calm I knew I could rely on and for that I'm so grateful. I will be recommending Tanisha to anyone else I know who'll be getting married as I will also be encouraging them to do a destination wedding! Tanisha was amazing. I couldn’t be more thankful that I found someone who understood the process of a destination wedding. I had my wedding at the Hard Rock Riviera Maya, and Tanisha provided the perfect amount of guidance in helping me plan my wedding and set my guests up for travel. She was amazing when it came to organizing the room block, helping me in understanding and be aware of specific time frames for my room block. There was times when I was getting overwhelmed by my guest in regards to the rooms and transportation Tanisha assured me that as long as the guests reach out to her directly, she would be more than happy to assist, as well as to take that burden off of my plate since I also had a wedding to plan.
