We called Mateja in the middle of December needing to go find summer immediately after Christmas. She recommended the Marival Armony Luxury resort in Puerto Vallarta and we were sitting on the beach watching Hump Back Whales a few weeks later. The resort was everything she said it would be from the beautiful beach, gorgeous hotel, and great food. We would love to go back every January and we know Mateja can make that happen! A few years ago she booked our family of 12 in Cancun over the week of Christmas. Again she was working on short notice during the busiest travel time of the year and was able to knock it out of the park! Everything from the hotel, the transfers, and the food were perfect for my grandkids as well as the adults. Best Christmas Ever! My wife, adult son and I returned recently from a long week at the Secrets Resort in Los Cabos, Mexico. It is stunningly beautiful and well managed. The rooms are large, clean and very comfortable. We could have consolidated some travel arrangements to save money. For instance our son and his wife could have been transported with us to and from the airport or vice versa even though their or our flight left earlier or later. Waiting the hour or two longer would not have mattered. This was partly our fault because we added him later, but well within the time to consolidate some of the arrangements in order to save us money. On the other hand, I recognize that maybe making these refinements would have added expense due to complications I am unaware of because I don't do this work.

Also be aware that although "Reef Magic," was great and I'd go with them again, and I would point it out to them in the future, my scuba tank was not fully filled on my second dive and this dive had to be ended sooner than I wanted. Mateja is fun and easy to work with. She booked our cruise and helped find many free extras. The tickets and passes were mailed and ready a couple weeks before we left. Mateja checked and verified everything was as planned. A great helper.

The trip to Italy that Mateja planned for us was the trip of a lifetime! It was meticulously planned and she covered every detail. She booked beautiful,quaint hotels in the heart of the cities. We were often picked up in the hotel lobby for the private or semi-private tours in each city. We even had a private Italian cooking class and market tour. At the end of the trip, she made arrangements for a guide to pick us up at our hotel in Venice, go with us on the water taxi to the airport and make sure we found our way to the gate at the airport. The price was incredibly reasonable for all that we got and even included first-class airfare. She met with us before leaving to go over the itinerary and give us tips and information we needed for foreign travel. I have already told several friends that when they want to travel I can refer them to the best agent. And the next time I want to go, I will be calling Mateja!

We have used Mateja for two of our cruises and have been very pleased with her.

We would have liked to have stayed in a hotel on the beach area close to the International Hall of Fame on the first night we arrived in Ft. Lauderdale. We were in a hotel in the corporate area and it cost us over $50 for a cab from the airport to the hotel and another $65 to go to the Swimming Hall of Fame and to the ship. The hotel we were at had nothing close to it so we were basically stuck there.

My only recommendation is that you review the credit cards likely accepted in the countries that will be traveled in so that people carry the needed cards.

We worked with Mateja for several months leading up to our European trip. She was generally very helpful. I was travelling with my mother, and despite my mother and i living in different locations and paying separately, Mateja mostly communicated directly with her. I would have like to have received my own copy of all documents that were sent out to my mother. Ultimately, my mother just copied them for me. She was very communicative leading up to the travel date and was very helpful in answering questions. One big thing that would have made our travel stress free: upon learning the flight times, my mother expressed concern regarding our one hour layover in Amsterdam coming home. Mateja assured her it would not be a problem (despite changing our flight going out because it had a one hour layover.) It was a huge problem. We arrived into the gate 10 minutes late, which left us with about 35 minutes to catch our flight (they will not allow you to board 15 minutes or less before the flight leaves apparently). Then, they had an issue with the exit hallway (where you go from the plane to the airport), so we had an additional delay. We were also unaware we had to go through passport control. Another delay. Lastly, Amsterdam is a huge airport and our gate was literally on the other side of it from where we landed. We had to run, with my mother running ahead to hopefully delay the plane. We arrived with about 5 minutes to spare and probably not even that. Luckily, other passengers faced the same plight, so it was delayed anyway. Even with a 2 hour layover we would have at least been walking very quickly. For it to be comfortable, I would not schedule less than 3 hours between flights. It was an extremely stressful ending to an otherwise fantastic trip.

My husband and I went on our dream trip last month. We flew into Paris and spent 3 days and spent 5 days in Nice and then headed to Spain! Mateja planned the whole trip for us. We had private pick ups from the airports and train stations (which were top notch) and the hotels she placed us in were just fabulous! The title of my review is directly related to the fact that Mateja was clearly aware of our needs throughout the planning process. There were a few miscommunications that made some of the related planning somewhat challenging but it all worked out in the end so splendidly. There was one defacing spot on what would otherwise have been an almost pristine picture. Flying out, we had a layover that was only an hour and Mateja was quite concerned about it so she made a change to give us more time. When I noticed the same anomaly on our flight coming back, I asked about it and the indication was that it shouldn't be a problem. Oh my goodness, was it a problem. There was not one second of wiggle room for our flight and had it not been for some very kind people along our 1 mile plus, no exaggeration, sprint to our gate, we would have missed our flight. My recommendation would be, that there never be less than a three hour layover in Amsterdam. The airport is huge and if, as happened in our case; the flight is late, the walkway won't operate, you have the last gate in the terminal which is on the OPPOSITE side of the airport from where you land, AND most of the moving walkways are not operating AND you have one person with a hip problem trying to run the entire distance of a very confusingly directed airport, you will miss your flight without a doubt...However, because Mateja booked us on Delta, that whole awful experience was quickly rectified. The flight home felt as if I had won some sort of lottery. Our information said, "One lunch meal". We didn't get just one lunch meal, we received a total of 5 meals on the flight, not to mention a free glass of sparkling champagne for my daughter and all who wanted one. I truly felt the light of heaven all the way home. I will book through Mateja for all of my travel and in fact, have already contacted her for another vacation...Thank you Cruise and Travel Masters and thank you Mateja.

Mateja is excellent! She knows something about everywhere we've wanted to travel to and has given great suggestions for stuff to do and things to see. She took into account the fact that we were traveling with a baby and gave good recommendations for stuff that would be more family friendly, as well as safety issues (volcano, etc). She's fast at replying to emails and calls and is so friendly all the time! I love that the travel packet that comes before the trip has luggage tags now too, it's a nice little touch to make things more personal. I have had the privilege to work with Mateja as a travel agent both professionally and personally. My first interaction with her was helping to plan a trip for a number of my MBA students to Europe. Her knowledge of hotels, airline travel, local transportation needs and places to visit were very helpful, considering that we had a set budget that we had to meet. As a result, I have used Mateja as my personal travel agent for our cruise vacations. We recently completed a cruise to Alaska with an extended land portion to Denali. She was very helpful in working with the cruise line and booking our flights to our destination and back home. Every aspect of our trip was well managed, communicated and planned. I most definitely will utilize Mateja again in the future as we consider possible vacation destinations and itineraries.

Mateja planned everything perfectly from being picked up at the airport in London to finding us comfortable convenient hotels. We had a special request to visit Highclere Castle in England (where Downton Abbey is filmed). That may sound like a simple request, but the tickets are almost impossible to get. She spent weeks searching for them and was finally able to book a tour. It wasn't just any tour, but we attended a vintage garden party with the Earl and Countess in attendance. We loved the house and the grounds were breathtaking. A perfect day! Thanks for helping my daughters dream trip come true.

Our Baltic Cruise couldn't have been better. Mateja gave us great suggestions and was able to provide some additional benefits that enhanced our experience. For one of the shore excursions she suggested we use a company called DenRus. I would suggest that you use DenRus for all of the shore excursions. They are less expensive, you are in a smaller group of 10-12 instead of a huge bus, you get better attention from the guide and they use earphones while conducting the tour. We found they can make better arrangements to get you into museums without the long lines, can make changes on the run if necessary and treat you as real guests. This is especially true if traveling in Russia.

The best 2 weeks in Hawaii!! Mauna Lani Point is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the amenities there. Mateja always takes good care of us and we love the places she finds for us. THANKS, MATEJA!!
