Our North Coast 500 tour in the northern highlands of Scotland was simply AMAZING! This was largely due to our travel agent/guide extraordinaire, Tawnya. She has a wealth of knowledge and experience related to Scotland tours, pays attention to even the smallest details, is always ready to help (not only during the trip but also in the planning stages), and makes the journey such a wonderful, fun, and relaxing experience! I can't say enough great things about Tawnya and this unforgettable tour, I highly recommend traveling with Anchor Travel! Wonderful memories that will last a lifetime

GREAT TRIP

Tawyna was able to accomplish what other agencies couldn't as we were going to a village called Port Isaac in Cornwall. Other agencies could get us to Paris and London but we would have had to plan the rest ourselves. She went above and beyond and provided an itinerary literally for dummies. We had never been to Europe and needed a lot of hand holding, which she more than provided. The itinerary was spot on every step of the way. Every Hotel was within walking distance from every site we wanted to see. I would highly recommend Tawyna. She knows her stuff and goes the distance and will not disappoint!!

Tawnya really gave us good direction on special areas and what to look for. She also planned a very nice variety of places to stay. Very knowledgeable about Scotland. We started off with some basic ideas of what we wanted to see and do and Tawyna really helped to narrow down the ideas into a very pleasant trip, It was nice to have her suggest different lodging option for us to choose from. She was also able to tell us if we were going to have to much driving for a day without being able to enjoy our surroundings. Helped us to develop a very workable and enjoyable trip!

Terrific Travels with Tawnya

Recently, my husband and I took the Outlander trip to Scotland (with a bit of Harry Potter and Downtown Abbey thrown in) with Tawnya. From the planning stage through the trip to the end, it was a wonderful trip. Tawnya is well-organized and gives great "bang for the buck." It was a substantive trip; Tawnya doesn't just drop you off and leave you with a bit of tour and lots of shopping. The trip was well planned with full days of sight-seeing at well chosen sites. Tawnya is a hands-on guide. She stays with her group and sees that everyone gets the most of the visit. The Scottish guide Hugh, was also outstanding. Not only did he know his "stuff," but he made it extremely interesting and had a delightful personality. The accommodations were comfortable although we didn't always have elevators. There was always help with luggage, though, if you needed it. In fact, Tawnya was always there to help if needed. What also made it a fun trip was the other people.

The Best Ever!!! Tawnya is AMAZING. I went on her Scotland tour in June 2016 and it soooo exceeded my expectations. She had incorporated several wonderful surprises into the itinerary - which I will call The icing on the cake! She has spoiled me for any other tour operator. She kept us up to date with e-mails before the trip, gave us daily maps to track our sights and was always friendly and helpful. Her passion is wonderful as well as contagious.
She is so organized and just seems to know what the group would enjoy - and then adds it into the schedule whenever possible.
