My name is Mia R. Wood and one of my all-time favorite past times is traveling this vast world!I make it a point to travel as often as I can, and I've traveled to most of the Caribbean islands, Hawaiian Islands, Europe and the United Emirates.  A few years ago, I took my first cruise and was hooked.  Needless to say, I've been on several since.  I decided what better way to spend my free time than by becoming a certified travel agent to plan amazing, luxury, dream travel "Adventures" for others.  So, I created Elite Adventures!

Studies show that people who vacation more are less tense, less depressed and less overworked, which naturally leads to better relationships with friends, family and their partner.

As a young child I developed a love for the beach when my parents would take us to Virginia, Dewey or Bethany beach.  As an adult when I took my first trip out of the United States to Mexico, on a girls trip, I was fascinated by the crystal-clear blue water and have been addicted to traveling since then.  I have been to over 16 different Caribbean islands (and plan to see all of them), two Hawaiian Islands, to Paris, London, Dubai and Abu Dhabi.  I have also been on multiple cruises.  

I am passionate about travel and wellness and therefore, I combined the two.  I am certified in Wellness travel, Romance and Luxury travel too.  I'm also a certified Dream Maker, certified Vacation Builder, certified Travel Genius and Master Travel Ambassador with my host agency, and am Marriott and Sandals certified.
