I completed the Travel Leaders Honeymoon & Destination Wedding (HMDW) Specialist Program to show you how dedicated and educated I am.The program gave me in-depth knowledge about product offerings, preferred suppliers, and popular destinations for honeymoons and destination weddings. During the program I was able to build the skills of travel professionals in the Honeymoon and Destination Wedding sector of the marketplace. I focused on broadening my knowledge of the market through a variety of study areas including researching and understanding the bridal market, studying suppliers, developing a comprehensive marketing plan, and took an exclusive educational trip to Wailea Maui and the Four Seasons Resort for my destination travel experience.Today’s brides are looking for expert help and advice in planning their wedding. Nearly 90% of brides will take a honeymoon, and the number of brides wanting a destination wedding is around 20% and rapidly rising.
