Australia is my favorite destination! I had always dreamed of traveling to Australia and holding a koala since I was a little girl. In 2016, my dream became a reality! My family and I took a month-long trip to the land down under. It was a trip of a lifetime and memories that my kids and I will hold dear to our hearts for many years to come.

In 2018, I was also blessed to be one of 14 travel agents from the US to be picked by the Australian Tourism Board for a whirlwind adventure. I was so excited because the adventure included destinations that we were not able to include in our family adventure.

• Koala Encounter:  They are so soft and adorable; this is surely to be a highlight of your trip!  Wild Life Sydney Zoo offers a unique opportunity to meet the iconic Australian Koala, all while enjoying a delicious hot buffet breakfast. Since you can only do this in certain parts of Australia, I’ll help make sure you’re set up for success before you arrive.
• Boomerang & Didgeridoo Lessons: Spend your day learning about the aboriginal culture and get boomerang and didgeridoo lessons from Aboriginals. Be warned: returning your boomerang takes some practice and expert tutorage!
• Scuba Diving the Great Barrier Reef: I have lots of great tips to help you make sure that you have an amazing experience if this on your bucket list,
• Daintree Rainforest: The World Heritage-listed Daintree Rainforest is so beautiful that its ancient ferns, emerald green vines and lush canopy provided inspiration for the movie Avatar. Here, you can trek through jungle and discover plants and animals found nowhere else on the planet. Fly through the trees on a zip-line for a bird’s-eye view and cruise along the winding waterways of the Daintree River, looking for saltwater crocodiles. You might even be able to spot the cute baby crocodiles!
• Cape Tribulation: Visit the only place on Earth where two World Heritage-listed sites – the Great Barrier Reef and the Daintree Rainforest – meet. When Sir David Attenborough calls something “the most extraordinary place on Earth”, you know it must be good.
• Port Douglas: Explore this cute tropical town that has it all: the aquamarine waters of the Great Barrier Reef, the breathtaking canopy of the Daintree Rainforest, the crystal creeks of Mossman Gorge, and the palm fringed golden sands of Four Mile Beach. Vivid Lights: Each year May- June, Sydney becomes a canvas for brilliant light installations and projections including the Sydney Opera House, Customs House and Taronga Zoo Sydney – illuminated in brilliant color. The program also includes big-ticket music performances, creative conferences, talks, and workshops.
• Field of Lights: Set in the heart of the Northern Territory, the exhibition, aptly named Tili Wiru Tjuta Nyakutjaku or ‘looking at lots of beautiful lights’ in local Pitjantjatjara sees more than 50,000 solar-powered stems light up at sunset and glow throughout the night. In keeping with the desert’s vast scale this is Munro's largest Field of Light installation to date, with the brightly coloured light stems covering an area the size of four football fields.
• Red Centre: The Red Centre is an extraordinary landscape of desert plains, weathered mountain ranges, rocky gorges and some of Aboriginal Australia's most sacred sites, including Uluru and Kata Tjuta. Floating in an outback waterhole, dining under a starry sky while being serenaded by didgeridoo, and watching the world's most famous rock change colours at dawn and dusk are just some of the Red Centre's only-in-Australia experiences.
