Rainforest Wildlife Tour
Cairns is the focal point for the magnificent Great Barrier Reef Marine Park and is surrounded by World Heritage listed rainforests. To the west are the lush Atherton Tablelands and the outback plains and gorges of the gulf savannah. This day & night tour allows you to experience wildlife in its' natural environment, seeing the rainforest from the coast to the mountains. The trip visits many different habitats and is designed for you to see the widest range of native plants, mammals, reptiles & birds. Relax and enjoy the splendor only the Daintree Rainforest can offer as you learn of Estuarine Crocodiles, mangrove forests and endemic wildlife. Next, make your way up over the Alexandra Range and pause for a panoramic view of World Heritage, Wet Tropics, and Tropical Rainforest merging with the azure colors of the Coral Sea. Enjoy a journey through ancient Daintree Rainforest, whilst giving you an interpretation of flora and fauna. You will have ample time for photographs and questions as you search for the elusive, rare and totally unique Southern Cassowary and other wildlife species. Make your way to Cape Tribulation Beach and stroll along the beach and boardwalk to the photographers' platform overlooking the mountains and coast where the 'Rainforest meets the Reef'.

Australia was truly a trip of a lifetime. The food in Australia was fresh and delicious, and there were so many Vegetarian and Vegan options available. Overall, every city we visited was exceedingly clean and the people were very polite and inviting.
