I'm the founder of S3 Adventures, and we specialize in creating unforgettable group travel experiences for the LGBT+A community. Since starting this business in 2018 from California (now based in Chicago), I've been passionate about bringing like-minded, adventurous travelers together. We focus on individuals between the ages of 40 and 70 who love exploration, fitness, and discovering off-the-beaten-path destinations. Our clients are seeking something beyond the usual tourist spots.
At S3 Adventures, we don’t sell cruises, family vacations, or weddings – we only run small group tours. We believe in curating groups where strangers at the start become friends by the end of the journey. Whether it’s trekking, culinary tours, scuba diving, white-water rafting, or skiing, we pride ourselves on offering experiences that challenge and inspire our clients. We don’t chase the trendy Instagram spots or tourist traps – instead, we uncover hidden gems and lead you through some of the world’s most remote and stunning locations.
I’ve personally traveled to every continent, backpacking, scuba diving, and exploring luxury destinations along the way. I’ve Scuba dived on every continent and bring my experience as a global adventurer to every trip we plan. Leading our groups on these tours isn’t just my job – it’s my passion. From Indonesia to Iceland, Japan to the South Pacific, we’ve curated group trips around the world, each one carefully designed to foster connection and adventure.
What sets us apart is the high level of care we put into every detail. We’re literally with you on every tour, solving problems as they arise – whether it’s finding lost luggage on a remote island or arranging a private boat to meet tight transfer schedules. We also document the journey with professional photos and videos, so you leave with more than just memories – you’ll have stunning images of your adventure.
When I’m not leading tours, I spend my time editing my photography, cooking, enjoying wine, and planning the next adventure. I love biking and hiking, and I’m always thinking about where the next group will go!
