COUNTRIES VISITED:Norway
PLACES VISITED:
SUGGESTED DURATION:10 Days
Norway is a big awe inspiring country with warm people. Start with the biggest city: Oslo and visit the Vigeland sculpture garden, Opera house, the many museums. Then off to Bergen, the second largest city with its colorful Bryygen, fish market and Mount Ulriken Cable Car for the view. From there take a cruise through the beautiful Naeroy fjord to Flam and the scenic Flam railroad. Must sees/visits, Romsdale and Trollstigen and the scenic views. Next Trondheim, a lovely university town where you can take an overnight train to Bodo. From Bodo, you can fly or take the ferry to the stunning Lofoten Islands! Before heading back, head to Tromso, the vibrant fun town above the arctic circle with its University and loads of things to do. From September to early April, it is a great place to see the Aurora Borealis, go dogsledding, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, visit an raindeer camp. From Tromso, it is an easy flight to Oslo to head home.
