About Me

Immersive cultural experiences+cultural training

I have extensive experience working with refugees and immigrants in the USA, and I lived abroad in South Korea for a year. I have deep cultural experiences and can help you find a unique program to help you to learn about the world and gain a new perspective. I offer cultural intelligence training to my customers, so they can get the most out of their immersive experience, and carry their learning from their trip into the rest of their lives. When you book through me, you have the opportunity to not just take a trip, but to genuinely learn about yourself and the culture you're traveling to.

I know that there are so many ways we can engage with the world, no matter where we are. I’m deeply motivated to share what I’ve learned and help others to shift their perspective about the world. What does the world want to teach you?

After all my learning about cultures and experiencing cultures, my favorite model is the CQ model from the Cultural Intelligence Center. I have been trained and certified by the CIC to debrief CQ assessments and provide CQ workshops. How do you want to increase your CQ?

Being a culturally curious traveler means going beyond checklists and photo ops—it’s about approaching every destination with humility, openness, and a desire to learn. This kind of travel fosters deeper empathy, challeng...

What Type of Traveler Are You?

What really drives our travel decisions? It’s easy to point to Instagram posts, guidebooks, or the dream of “getting away.” But underneath it all, our travel behavior is guided by something deeper: how comfortable we are with unfamiliar environments, how we seek connection, and how we balance structure with spontaneity. These inner preferences s...

Cultural Intelligence for International Travelers

There are different ways of traveling internationally. You can travel in a bubble, like on a cruise ship or in a resort, where you’re removed from the local community. Sometimes you need to rest and recharge, and this type of trip is one approach. But you can also travel in a way that engages and benefits your host community. This way of ...
