I was never destined to travel.  Raised on a farm in Wisconsin, our idea of vacation was going to the county fair for 4 days in the middle of summer and working.  We showed our animals and other 4H projects and then went home and back to farm life.    So I would say that my love of travel started in college after a summer break trip - wait for it - to dairy farms in California.   Well that was part of it which was great, but I remember the National Parks and restaurants and San Francisco Bay.  That trip started me on a lifetime of travels and experiences that I add to every chance I get.

I've been on over 15 cruises - from short 3 day trips to 10 day trips to far away destinations.  And I loved them all.  I've been blessed with good travel companions (my husband(s)) - one at a time and never had a bad travel experience with flights, ships or fellow passengers.   Royal Caribbean and Carnival are my go-to cruise lines, but I'm falling in love with Norwegian and Princess as well.

Warm weather destinations are my jam because its cold in Wisconsin - like 330 days a year.  Favorite places that I'd go back to - Puerto Vallarta, Clearwater Beach, Miami, and any Caribbean island.

Lifelong bucket type trips that I'd also repeat:  Russia (pre Ukraine conflict), Ireland, Germany, Hawaii.
