Thank you, Penny! Thanks for France! We wanted to go to France, but we had no time to plan. Enter Penny. We told her what and where we wanted, and she did all the legwork for us. A quirky hotel in the Latin Quarter! A spacious space in Avignon, windows on two sides, a stone’s throw from the Pope’s Palace! All our transport and locales were ideal. And our trip began with someone meeting us at the airport! So fun. You picked out day trips that suited us perfectly. We saw Versailles, so impressive and overwhelming we still talk about it. We saw the fairytale landscape of Rousillon, where ochre yellows and reds have been mined for centuries. We saw a sunset, standing under a 2000 year old Roman aqueduct. Thanks for all that. And because we weren’t continually fussing with our arrangements, we had time to experience the small magic moments that travel is really all about. Being in the Luxemburg Gardens at dusk, when half of Paris is coming home after a summer’s day. Seeing two little girls
