Touring the Bourbon Distilleries

As a Kentucky Bourbon Trail expert, my love for this unique experience began when I surprised my husband with a birthday trip to Louisville, Kentucky.Instantly, I fell in love with this beautiful city, rich in history and, of course, bourbon.

Even though I don’t regularly drink bourbon, touring the distilleries revealed the intricate process and captivating history of prohibition and distilling, which deepened my respect and fascination for the craft.

Louisville is more than just bourbon, though. It’s a city steeped in tradition and history, with highlights like the historic Churchill Downs. One of my favorite memories was having breakfast on the backstretch while watching the horses and jockeys practice, learning so much about the sport of horse racing.

I’m passionate about sharing this love with others and can create an itinerary tailored to your favorite bourbon choices and interests.

Melissa was absolutely amazing!!! She had our Disney trip planned out beautifully. Our itinerary was filled with a different theme park a day and contained great places for our family for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. All of the restaurants that she had on our itinerary had great food and it was such a great vibe for my family. She knew Disney like the palm of her hand and she didn’t miss not one detail. She took all of the stress out of planning a trip like this for my family and I’m so grateful for her. Her itinerary even contained the best snack shops to redeem snacks during theme park days. I can’t say enough about how amazing and skilled she is with what she does. Transportation was also included within the itinerary as well. We were able to create amazing memories stress free thanks to Melissa.

Melissa is the best!

Melissa was great to work with from beginning to end. This trip to Disney we did not want to stay at a Disney Resort. She recommended a great hotel for our short stay, close to everything, easy quick Uber rides. On our way back our flight out of Orlando was delayed arriving little by little. We had already checked in. We decided it would best to change as our connection flight would be in jeopardy. She was able to put us on a different flight WITHOUT us having to talk to anyone from the airline! We simply got a new boarding pass at the gate. Good thing we (us and Melissa) changed flights when we did because while boarding we learned that the flight we did get on was 100 percent full. Had we delayed, we might not have made it home when we did.
