If you are looking for an adventure Alaska may be the perfect destination for you to consider. Plenty you can see and do in this beautiful state. There are both land and sea options for Alaska that will allow you to explore multiple areas of this glorious state.

I recently traveled to Alaska and it was certainly a memorable trip.

A few highlights from my trip ...

  • In Fairbanks our Salmon bake was spectacular, some of the best I've had and panning for gold is quite the experience
  • Denali - a beautiful tundra with endless wilderness and there are planty of tour options
  • Take the Alaskan Railway to Talkeetna - this is an exceptional train experience. The Talkeetna lodge had beautiful views with an outdoor deck with overlook
  • In Girdwood the Alyeska Resort has an aerial tram with spectacular views
  • In Seward cruise the Kenai Fjord, stop at Fox Island and the whale watching cruise was my favorite

50th Wedding Aniversary Celebration

We were looking for a place our whole family could go to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. This meant finding a place children, teenagers and adults could all enjoy. Karen gave us several options and we settled on Tulum, MX. Karen made all the air travel, local transportation and lodging arrangements for us. Gave us good suggestions of things to do there. Everything was provided as promised. She is a great vacation planner.
