As an educator who also loves nature and history, visiting America’s National Parks is one of my favorite things to do. I aim to see as many of the US’s 63+ National Parks as I can during my lifetime. To date, I have visited nearly twenty of the parks, and I plan to see more in the coming months.Among my favorites predictably, is Yellowstone National Park in the western part of the United States. There are so many incredible things to see and do in this 1st of America’s National Parks. Besides the amazing wildlife and geological features, there are amazing lodges of varying levels of comfort. Allow me to help you plan anything between a back country tour to a luxury hotel lodge near the famous Ole Faithful geyser. Yellowstone backs up to the Grand Tetons National Park, so this is an easy two-for-one trip! A visit to southern Utah can become a tour of five of our famous national parks including Arches, Canyonland, Bryce Canyon, Capital Reef, and Zion. My son absolutely loved learning about geology in our guided tour of Canyonlands and we have beautiful pictures at the famous Delicate Arch in Arches National Park.Would you like a good combination of national parks and an urban vacation? Nashville, Tennessee, also known as Music City, is a moderate drive from the Great Smokey Mountains National Park (one of the most visited parks in America). The Smokey Mountains are near Dolly Parton’s Dollywood in historic Gatlinburg. If you love the beach and an island combination talk to me about Volcano and Haleakala National Parks in Hawaii or Acadia National Park in Maine.Whether you are hiking, camping, glamping, or in for a day, a week, or a month, allow me to help you plan your next visit to one of America’s National Parks.
