When it comes to your dream trip, I believe that nothing should be left to chance. That is why I will take care of every aspect of your journey.
For example, I don't just book your cruise or resort and move on to the next customer. Instead, I work closely with you to find flights, tours, transfers and any other travel item that will enhance your travel experience. If you're not sure about tours or excursions, I use my personal network and network of location experts to plan the best personal vacation for you and your travel companions.
I have a reputation for paying attention to detail, which is especially important when it comes to travel. One wrong date on a plane ticket, one a.m. mistaken for a p.m., and a trip can be upset. That is why it's so important for you to work with a travel consultant like me that has success with handling all of the details.
In addition, I am an experienced traveler. I have traveled throughout Europe, South America, the United States and the Caribbean and have visited more than 60 countries. Some of my favorite memories include seeing the Panama Canal, dog sledding in Alaska and taking a gondola ride in Venice. I have taken many cruises (both river and sea), experienced a number of international land trips and visited some beautiful all-inclusive resorts. Plus, I escort "Cruise With Us" groups every year, which keep me connected with what my clients want when they go exploring.
Although cruises and luxury travel are my specialty, I am experienced in booking all types of travel, including international travel and all-inclusive resort packages. I want to help you plan your dream vacation!

Great trip to Italy!

Muffett took care of everything! We had three weeks in Italy and the only thing we had to think about was what we were going to eat (although I'm sure she would have taken care of that too if we had asked her). Pre-trip planning, flights, transfers, trains, hotels, tours, suggested itineraries...everything! We had a few questions when we were there – not related to any problems – and she was also quick to respond to our text and emails. Would definitely recommend!

Christmas Getaway in Paradise!

After speaking directly to a Sandals Resort agent and getting a last minute quote on a trip before Christmas Immediately decided to call a local agent I knew of here in Knoxville, Tennessee. Muffett was immediately available answer all the questions I had. I was wanting to have dates closer to the holidays and for the same timeframe that the Sandals Resort was offering. Muffett took about a few minutes to look up the resort and was able to not only find the days for us to be away on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day but also an extension of days for the exact same price as the Sandals agent! We were shocked at this incredible opportunity. We immediately booked the deal with Muffett and also was able to purchase to travel insurance policies that were very worth their value. We were able to fly away with the peace of mind and assurance that not only if we were to lose our luggage but also if there were to be inclement weather our trip would be fully refunded. What an amazing deal!!!

European Riverboat and Trans-Atlantic Cruises

Muffett found great deals for us on the cruises and the flights we wanted and she arranged our hotel stays in Amsterdam and Rome. The hotels were conveniently located and she gave us very good advice on what to see and do in these cities. We had one minor issue with our transfer to the airport in Budapest but she was able to resolve this issue very quickly.
We highly recommend Muffett and we will definitely use her for future trips.

Absolutely loved working with Muffett. We had a complicated tour of Europe to complete with some very last minute needs (about 3 weeks before we departed), and she organized a brilliant trip that was well thought out, detailed, and precise. Muffett even hand delivered our tickets to our doorstep to avoid any delays or shipping fees.
She answered every question immediately and thoroughly and was incredibly helpful from questions ranging from how do you find the taxi booth to how do you do laundry on a cruise?

Amazing alaskan adventure

Eight of us went not an Alaskan cruise leaving from different places and all meeting in Seattle before our trip. Muffet did an amazing job organizing everything from our hotel in Seattle to telling us which excursions would best fit our needs and each port. She answered 1 million of my questions and made sure that I felt comfortable with everything before we left, and I’m a bit of a control freak so that’s hard to do. Everything went very smoothly, because she is so detail oriented. Before we even left we started planning our next trip, that of course Muffet will be planning.

Muffett planned my vacation down to the last detail. It was a true vacation because she had taken care of every detail. And there were a lot of details as I was visiting 5 countries. My bag was lost for a couple of days and she took care of finding it and getting it to me. I had no worries as the travel insurance paid for my clothing and toiletry needs until I was reunited with my bag. Muffett is professional, caring, thoughtful, and to the point. Anniversary in Paradise

I contacted her about a spring trip for an all inclusive/adult only destinations. I gave her a price range and possible area’s of interest.

Muffett is so wonderful! She helped us with all of our questions, arranging transportation, found us great deals. She really eased our stress levels. Our trip was not as cut and dry as just going on a cruise. We were getting married on our cruise, so she helped us arrange shuttles for 20+ people, get room block deals at our hotel for our guests, arrange shuttles for them to the boat and the hotel. Muffett was FANTASTIC! She was able to coordinate and direct the twelve members of my family on a very complicated trip for us. We were all heading to the South of France on a Viking cruise, but coming from different cities/states/countries. Virtually each person had a different itinerary coming and going , but Muffett was able to stay on top of each person's travels, as well as point out areas to save cost for the cruise itself. She was very available and responsive, kept us up to date on the many changes occuring in the world of traveling, and kept us on track for the checklist of things to be done prior to traveling. Relaxing in Mexico

Everything was perfect. Our flights ran without any trouble. The resort was so beautiful and the staff was went above and beyond in every way. They even upgraded us to a "premium view" room when we asked. The location was great. We walked to a nightclub and grocery store and the bus stop was right outside our door when we wanted to take it down to Mercado 28. The FunJet and Lomas Travel transportation crew were reliable, friendly, and helpful.
This was one of our best travel experiences because we didn't have plan and worry about everything. My husband told me he was actually able to turn off his brain for a couple days and relax -which is a pretty big deal for him and his engineer brain.

Al and I have always taken care of our own travel plans and all the computer work that it takes to plan a trip. It's exhausting and we usually forget something we wanted to do on the trip!
Muffett took care of planning the trip and so all we had to do on this trip was relax and enjoy the view. Spain had not been on our bucket list, but the more we thought about it, the more appealing it sounded. Not knowing anything about the country and its tourist opportunities, we had to trust Muffett to guide us on making the most of this vacation. She suggested a package that turned out to be perfect for us. We spent three days each in Barcelona and Madrid. In each city, we had a combination of guided, half-day tours, followed by lots of free time to explore on our own. At both hotels – which exceeded my expectations – a host was available to arrange additional tours or just help us get around on our own. The tour company made airport and train transfers effortless. The tour guides were very knowledgeable and all were very friendly. Our trip would not have turned out so well without Muffett’s expertise with this vacation option, as well as her taking the time to get to know us and how we like to travel.

We did a 9 day golf trip through Scotland. All the details, even the unexpected, were handled. Two of our group had flights cancelled en route to Europe and the transportation to the hotel was already handled by the time we arrived, with the concierge waiting at the airport, even though we were a day later than planned. My daughter and I recently did a cruise to the Eastern Caribbean. When we told her where we wanted to go, she immediately started working on our trip. She kept me, as well as my daughter, informed on everything regarding the trip. She booked a wonderful hotel for us the night before the cruise (she had already been there) - even telling us about the shuttle (& cost) to the Port. She booked our flights both ways. We chose to do her off-shore excursions, some of which she had previously visited. We were not disappointed in any of them! She kept in touch with us, either by email or phone with every detail. She was on top of everyones needs and was able to assist with ideas and changes throughout the process. When France started protesting and went on strike for our train travel she worked with a local agent to make sure our trip went off as planned and we could still do all the things we wanted to do. Muffett had several suggestions along with the Valentin. My husband and I worked with Muffett Grubb to plan a cruise for our 25th wedding anniversary. She did a wonderful job in finding out what we wanted in a cruise line and matched us with what fit that. Don't Even Think of Doing It Yourself!

I have been fortunate enough to join Muffett on two of her "Cruise with Us" tours (Mediterranean & Alaska) and cannot imagine traveling without her expertise. No detail is missed. Hotel reservations, transfers, cruise accommodations, embarkation, shipboard activities, excursions, etc., etc., etc. She misses nothing and keeps you informed every step of the way. You can tell she's "been there, done that" many, many times. But even the best laid plans are subject airline incompetence so when you're luggage doesn't arrive until the fifth day of the cruise, that's when you need a seasoned travel agent like Muffett. She dealt with all the details of tracking it down and finally getting it delivered to the ship. She was in contact with the airline, the travel insurance company and the cruise ship concierge several times a day until it was taken care of. If not for her efforts, I'm not sure if I would have ever gotten my luggage back. So, what could have ruined my trip of a lifetime turned out to be only a minor inconvenience.
The only thing Muffett loves more than having a good time is seeing her clients have a good time and she does everything in her power to make that happen. Yes, you can book your cruise yourself but why in the world would you want to?

Bucket List trip to British Isles

Muffett was a great help in finding a location and knowing what we were looking for in our honeymoon. We went to Maui!! She found a place where I could enjoy golf and my wife could have the beach. We didn't have any excursions planned for the two weeks except for a day to the other island to see Pearl Harbor. We enjoyed that side of it being really laid back. She encouraged us to take a drive on the road to Hanah, however, which turned out great. I do wish she would have encouraged us or nudged us more or harder to do at least one adventure while on our honeymoon. That's funny that I am asking to be sold on doing MORE!! Muffett was just what we needed to make our honeymoon special!

This was the most extraordinary experience. From the moment we started talking about where we wanted to go, she provided options based on our budget. She communicated quickly and also encouraged us based on what she knew about each area and reviews from other travelers. She helped us book our excursions, took care of our air and car travel, and made sure everything was taken care of. We got all of our trip papers to help us pack and plan for the trip and never had to figure out what we were doing. She had EVERYTHING taken care of and it was exactly what we were looking for. Our vacation was fabulous!!! It was perfectly planned to maximize our experience in Canada. Not once did we worry about connections, directions or the normal problems of travel. Muffett did it all. I absolutely would recommend Muffett to my family, friends and anybody wanting to travel. I feel confident in doing this because I am sure they would experience the same good service she gave us.

My first priority in planning my honeymoon was locating not only a travel agent with expertise in cruises but specifically Alaskan cruises. I found Muffett during my research and had an absolutely fantastic experience. Muffett was able to compare itineraries and cruise lines side by side for me so I could decide which trip was best for us. Muffett Grubb did an amazing job planning our honeymoon to the Excellence Resort in Punta Cana DR! This was our first time using a travel agent and it is definitely the way to go, one less thing to stress about pre-wedding! Every last detail of our trip was planned and in our travel documents she mailed to us before the trip: from the flights, airport transportation and resort reservations. She also sent us email updates on what to expect while in the DR and fun facts to know before we went. When we first met we just discussed what we were looking for and didn't have an exact destination in mind, once we saw the information on the Excellence Resort in Punta Cana we were sold! It was adults only, all-inclusive and at the beach. We had the best time on our honeymoon and will definitely be using Muffett to plan future vacations :) Thanks for everything!

Muffett helped us plan a holiday cruise and steered us toward a cruise line that provided a first-rate experience. She also made recommendations for excursions (outside of those provided through the cruise line) that turned out to be so much better than those the cruise line sponsored. There were a few bumps along the way (a death, and adding another passenger at the last minute), but Muffett handled them efficiently and professionally, smoothing the way for a perfect cruise vacation. I always plan our trips myself. The best thing about Muffett is that everything gets taken care of as good or better than I could do it myself but I didn't have the stress! Also, Muffett was able to get us little perks that we could not have gotten on our own. If you don't like the best price, low stress and extras for free, you are crazy and won't use Muffett anyway. If you have a brain, let Muffett handle your next trip!

We called Muffett after deciding to take a cruise to Alaska with my sister and brother in law. Muffett always answered the phone or promptly returned calls if she was unavailable. Muffett arranged a two week tour of Italy for a fourteen person group of our friends.
I must say that, prior to going, Italy was not at the top of my bucket list of places to travel, but now I suggest that everyone move it to the top of theirs. Our experience was fantastic, and I can honestly say that it was such a success mainly because of Muffett's assistance in putting the trip together.
She arranged our air travel, transportation between cities (tour bus and train), hotels, some meals, and side excursions. Her attention to detail in making the arrangements, and her excellent written itineraries and instructions, allowed us to enjoy our vacation without the stress of trying to figure out what we needed to do next.
Muffett's planning allowed us to have a tremendously enjoyable, and safe, trip. We will definitely get her to plan our next trip!
