Hi, I'm Erika Rendon-Ramos, the passionate history nerd and creative force behind The Nerdy Travel Agent. My journey into the intertwined worlds of travel and history began with childhood family trips enriched by historical quizzes, sparking a lifelong passion. With a PhD in history from Rice University, I've turned my expertise into crafting unforgettable travel experiences.

Having visited 31 countries (4 continents so far!) and keen to explore more, I am ready to help you plan your next adventure with the same enthusiasm. 

I specialize in family travel (I have two little ones that go everywhere with us), but love booking honeymoons, couples trips, reunions, solo adventures and girlfriend getaways, too! 

Most of the trips I book are to Europe, Disney, or Mexico/Caribbean. However, I have experience booking Asia, Australia, South America, and USA, as well.
