In the Sacred Valley, you will find ancient history and living culture. Your first stop of the day is Chinchero, followed by the Parwa Cultural Center, the archeological site of Moray, and finally, in the valley, enjoy a typical lunch and visit Ollantaytambo, and ancient military, agriculture and religious center of the Incas. Hike to Machu Picchu on the Baby Inca Trail
After being driven into the Sacred Valley, you will board the train that leads to Machu Picchu, but you will hop off at the 104km marker, in the Urubamba valley, to begin your day of trekking. You will cover a moderate 13 kilometer (6-7 hours) Inca Trail with a little up, a little flat, and some down hill portions, connecting the classic 5-day trail at the impressive archeological site of Winya Wayna. Only Inca Trail hikers get to enjoy these ruins! From Winya Wayna, the trek then descends to Machu Picchu. You will continue the hike to Machu Picchu where you will observe the famous view from the sungate "inti punku." Spend overnight in Aguas Calientes.

Today, take a free day in Aguas Calientes! If the weather on your hike into Machu Picchu wasn't great yesterday, or if you want to explore the ruins again, you have the option to go back to Machu Picchu for a better glimpse! If not, feel free to wander and see the beautiful town, or visit the local hot springs! Tonight, overnight in Aguas Calientes.

Today, you'll take a late afternoon return by train to Ollantaytambo and then by bus back to Cusco. Spend the evening in Cusco.

full day Rainbow Mountain Trek
Today, you'll leave the hotel early to head to Cusipata and from there to Phulawasipata, the starting point of the uphill trail. The path will be the perfect excuse to enjoy the nature surroundings of this place. Herds of alpacas, llamas, as well as the majestic Apu Asangate, the highest snow-capped mountain dot the area. You will be able to walk with the community members of the area and see the fields that they work everyday. After approximately an hour and a half of hiking, you will arrive at Vinicunca, at 5,020 meters (16,470 feet) above sea level. Arriving at the lookout, your reward is a stunning view of the colorful hillside. Return to Cusco for an overnight stay.

Transfer From Cusco To Puno
This is half transfer and half tour! You will leave for Puno, enjoying the wonderful landscapes of the valley of Cusco along the way. First you will visit Andahuaylillas, where you will find the church of San Pedro, a beautiful 17th century building that has an impressive organ, decorated with angels and cherubs. Then you will visit Raqchi ruins, also known as the Temple of God, Wiracocha-which have different areas that were used for specific purposes. At the end of your visit, you will enjoy a delicious and typical lunch at a local restaurant. Then you will head to La Raya, the highest point between Cusco and Puno, where you will make a short stop to appreciate the landscape. Afterwards, you will go to Pucara, where you will visit the town and the museum of this Inca military construction, which also functioned as an administrative center. Finally, you will arrive in Puno for an overnight stay.

Uros and Taquile Island Tour by Speed Boat
Lake Titicaca is home to unique communities, cultures and traditions. The Uros are a people who have lived on the floating islands of the lake for more than 3,000 years and their ancestral practices were declared the cultural heritage of the nation in 2013. They have developed the ability to live among the reeds and have adapted to the environment, using aquatic plants to build their rafts and houses. Its inhabitants will be your guides, explaining about the formations of the islands, the way of life on the islands and the creation of their traditional fabrics using reeds. In Taquile, you will witness another unique lifestyle of lake Titicaca. As you hike to the top of the island, you can see different types of crops with the lake and the Illimani mountain range in the background, a fascinating combination of green and blue. Return back to Puno by speedboat before being transferred to your hotel for an overnight stay in Puno.

Transfer From Puno To Juliaca Airport for your flight to Lima
You excursion begins on the Panamerican highway and when you reach KM mark 20, your drive will exit and take the road that connects Puno to Juliaca. This is the route to the Sillustani archeological site, whose appeal is the tall, stone burial towers, some of which stand 12 meters in height and are 7.5 meters in diameter. Then you will continue with your transfer to the airport. From here, fly to Lima for an overnight stay.
