My name is Carrie Smallwood, and I am a Travel Advisor specializing in Wellness Travel and Retreats. My journey in the travel industry began at the age of 16 when I started working at a resort in Scottsdale, AZ. Over the years, I continued to build my career in the travel industry as a Destination Manager, specializing in planning corporate events and retreats.

In 2024, after a long but triumphant battle against breast cancer, I embraced life with renewed passion and discovered the profound healing power of travel. I was amazed by how deeply travel can connect you to a destination — by immersing yourself in its culture, food, people, and the essence of the land. This eye-opening experience inspired me to follow my calling as a Travel Advisor, helping others achieve their wellness goals through purposeful and enriching travel experiences.

I collaborate with the highest quality wellness providers in each destination to craft soulful itineraries that are truly unique. I believe life is about having experiences that foster growth and healing. 50th Birthday Celebration in Puerto Vallarta

My husband and I both turned 50 this year and we wanted to do something, but nothing at the same time! I reached out to Carrie and told her we wanted a relaxing beach vacation. She listened to all of our "musts" and selected the most perfect resort. Her firsthand knowledge of the city came in handy as she gave us so many recommendations of the best of the best to see and do from sightseeing to tours. We loved our resort so much, we spent the majority of our time there and came home so relaxed and refreshed. I don't think I have ever felt that way after a vacation! From start to finish this was such a wonderful experience. Carrie took all the stress of planning away so we could be relaxed before we even got there. The resort was so amazing, way better than we expected, and so affordable.

Excellent service, and helped change our plans

We booked a trip to visit family, and go to an amusement park. We had to make some last minute changes, and Carrie was able to get them changed quickly. When I was unable to load the park tickets into the mobile app, Carrie called the park and was able to assure me that it was a common problem, and that the tickets would still work, which they did.

We had to cancel our spring break trip to Universal Studios the day of because our son came down with the flu. It was heartbreaking—but what could've been a total nightmare turned out to be completely manageable, and that's 100% thanks to Carrie. We didn't lose a dime because she booked everything as a travel agent. No cancellation fees, no stress. She even managed to transfer our Universal tickets (which normally aren't transferrable!) and got us a new hotel reservation within hours of us finally making the tough call to cancel. I cannot recommend her highly enough—she took all the stress out of a stressful situation and turned it around with kindness, speed, and total professionalism. If you're planning a trip, seriously, let her take care of it. You won't regret it.

Awesome trip to Washington DC

It was an amazing trip because all the airline reservations and hotel reservations as well as excursions were taken care of. Carrie did such a great job on this trip that we plan to use her again on our next trip. We highly recommend her.

Our hotel was so close to all the museums we wanted as well the Metro. It was such a good trip.
