Day 1-3: Barcelona Arrived in Barcelona, dined at El Nacional. Explored Gaudí’s masterpieces: Casa Batlló, Casa Milà, Parc Güell, and the awe-inspiring Sagrada Família. Joined a walking tour through the Gothic Quarter, learning about Barcelona’s history, and ended at the stunning Santa Maria del Mar. Day 4-5: Granada Trained to Granada and visited the breathtaking Alhambra. Joined walking tours to dive into Granada’s Moorish history, explored the Catedral de Granada, and wandered the charming Albaicín and Sacromonte neighborhoods. Day 6-7: Córdoba & Seville Trained to Córdoba, toured the breathtaking Mosque-Cathedral, a highlight of the trip. Later, trained to Seville, where I explored Plaza de España, the grand Catedral de Sevilla, the lush Royal Alcázar, and the historic Archivo de Indias. Day 8-9: Madrid Trained to Madrid, walked around its iconic squares and neighborhoods. Visited the opulent Royal Palace, then relaxed at my hotel. Day 10: Flew back to Toronto.

Exploring Barcelona’s Architectural Gems
Visited Casa Batlló, Gaudí’s masterpiece, and marvelled at its whimsical design. - Walked to Casa Milà (La Pedrera), another Gaudí gem, and admired its undulating facade. - Joined a walking tour starting at Plaça de Catalunya, where I learned about Barcelona’s rich history and explored the Gothic Quarter. - The tour ended at the breathtaking Basilica de Santa Maria del Mar, a stunning example of Catalan Gothic architecture.

Took the metro to Parc Güell, where I wandered through Gaudí’s colourful, mosaic-filled park with panoramic views of the city. - Walked to the Basilica de la Sagrada Família, Gaudí’s unfinished masterpiece. The interior, with its towering columns and stained glass, left me in awe.
