Outdoor Adventure Family Travel

Hi! I'm Samantha Poole, owner of Outdoor Family Adventures and mother of two teenagers. I love exploring the outdoors and sharing adventures with my family.  Whether it be hiking Iceland, surfing in Kauai, skiing in Colorado, or swimming with sea lions in the Galapagos, we find a new and unique adventure on each trip. It’s amazing what adventures you can find with a short drive or quick flight that you never knew existed.  While we've tried all-inclusive resorts and cruises, we’ve come to realize it’s just not our thing.  As a family, we don’t do well sitting still for more than a day or two.  Call it a blessing or a curse!

I'm passionate about helping families discover the beauty of our natural world, beyond the beach resorts and create lasting memories. I am constantly researching and exploring (virtually and in person) new and exciting places to visit and discover.  As a parent, I know how precious time with your children is. Let me use my expertise to plan an unforgettable outdoor adventure for your family that your kids will be talking about for years to come.

My kids are really into sports, which means my travel schedule often revolves around school schedules and sports. The struggle is real! We always find a way to make it work and get away multiple times a year.  Last year I was even able to coordinate my daughter swimming with a local team in Kauai.  It was an awesome experience and she was still in swim shape for championships the following weekend. Win/Win. 

In college I was a language major (Italian, Spanish and French) and studied abroad in both Italy and Spain. My family hosted exchange students from several countries, including Thailand, Spain, Brazil, Azerbaijan, South Korea, and Argentina. I'm still friends with many of them today!
