    I have been an inbound Alaska Specialist for 16 years, focusing on custom, independent travel through America's largest state. I love to hike and kayak in our amazing parks, and with twice the land of Texas, there's always more to see and do.

     I am born and raised Alaskan, and I've travelled our amazing wilderness with three generations of my family. If you want to know which hiking trails in Kantishna are acceptable for seniors, or where to position a carseat on a whale watching cruise, I've been through it all.

    More than anything, I've enjoyed hiking in the backcountry of Denali National Park, walking across Glaciers in Wrangell St.Elias, and boating among pods of Humpbacks and Orcas in Kenai Fjords National Park.

This started with a list of three things I wanted to see in SE Alaska. What I needed was a fairly efficient and inexpensive way to connect them so I could see them in one trip. Karen found an Alaskan Dream cruise which included all three places, at a special discount for Alaska residents. Made things a whole lot easier. She also answered a variety of questions from the mundane to the esoteric which I had about the itinerary. Good job
