My best advice is while planning is key to any successful trip, flexibility and a sense of humor are just as important!! Delays, technological issues, cranky kids, etc. are all things that can interfere with your careful planning but don't let them ruin the fun...roll with the punches and remember that, often, the mishaps make the memories!!
