Family Adventuring in Acadia!

There’s something truly magical about exploring America’s national parks.  From the vast landscapes to the wildlife encounters giving the chance to step away from the everyday and into a world of wonder. Over the past five years, I’ve had the privilege of experiencing 24 of these incredible parks, from the rugged peaks of Glacier to the desert arches of Utah and the ocean-kissed trails of Acadia. Along the way, I’ve learned that no two adventures are ever the same and that’s exactly what makes them so special.

My personal journeys have taken me across a wide variety of travel styles, which gives me the insight to help clients plan the type of trip that fits them best. I’ve camped under starlit skies, stayed in cozy park lodges, found comfort in hotels just outside park gates, and experienced the charm of Airbnbs tucked away in gateway towns. Because I’ve navigated all these options firsthand, I can confidently help you decide which style of travel will best support your dream adventure.  Whether that’s a rustic, unplugged camping trip or a guided experience where every detail is taken care of.

Some of my most memorable adventures have been in the iconic parks that so many travelers dream of visiting. Acadia National Park in Maine will forever stand out for its breathtaking sunrise views from Cadillac Mountain, peaceful hikes along Jordan Pond, and the mix of seaside beauty and mountain trails. In Florida, I’ve explored the unique ecosystems of Everglades and Biscayne, discovering a side of the parks system that feels unlike anywhere else in the country. Full of waterways, tropical wildlife, and the kind of scenery you simply can’t find anywhere else.

The American West has also been an unforgettable classroom for my travel experience. I’ve journeyed through Utah’s “Mighty 5”; Arches, Canyonlands, Bryce Canyon, Capitol Reef, and Zion.  Each with its own dramatic landscape and story to tell. Whether it’s hiking among the hoodoos at Bryce, Admiring the Arches, or walking through the endless trails at Zio, these parks have given me countless insights into planning trips that balance adventure with accessibility. Add in the awe-inspiring Grand Canyon, with its unmatched scale and beauty, and Glacier National Park, where alpine lakes sparkle beneath towering peaks, and you have some of the most iconic destinations in the world right here in our backyard.

But beyond the destinations themselves, what I’ve learned is that national park travel looks different for everyone. For some, it’s about long days on the trail, chasing summits and sunrises. For others, it’s about family-friendly adventures that combine scenic drives, shorter hikes, and ranger-led programs. And for many, it’s about finding the right mix of comfort and exploration.  Whether that’s a fully guided tour or an independent journey with just the right amount of structure. My experience across so many parks, and through so many different travel styles, allows me to support your vision in a way that feels personal, seamless, and exciting.
