I fell in love with travel the summer I spent in Switzerland in high school. My college graduation trip was to Spain where I planned a trip to many of the places I had studied in Spanish class.

From that point I continued to travel to Europe almost every year.  I have been to 36 states and 44 countries:; 22 in Europe and 22 in North & Central America. In 2005 I took my first cruise and have since cruised over 20 times.

In January 2014 I joined with a host travel agency and began the experience of becoming a travel consultant. I have obtained specialist destination certifications from:

Chreyl coordinated a surprise trip for my 50th birthday with my husband. It was an amazing trip to Puerto Rico with my adult children and my sister (a total surprise). All details were covered, so I had no idea (I am very hard to surprise)! She is currently helping us with a possible trip planned for December 2015.

Best travel agent ever for the best trip ever!!!!!

When my daughter and I decided to make a side trip to France from Ireland, I knew I would need a travel agent's help. We had been to Ireland multiple times, but not to France. In searching for an agent online, I was hard-pressed to find one with their own European travel experiences. When I found Cheryl Kaufman, it was a perfect match for us. Because she knows Paris so well, she gave us sound direction and advice. She planned a wonderful stress-free trip. I gave her a list of side trips we wanted to go on and she set up the tours in advance. She selected the perfect hotel for us, a small modern place tucked on a quiet side street. If (hopefully when) we return to Paris this will be the hotel of choice. Public transportation was conveniently located near the hotel which was a great help for us, first time Paris visitors. I will definitely enlist the services of Cheryl through Clear Day Travel again for trips in and out of the US. She is a gem!

I am helping to organize a group trip that has developed very quickly. We had a short turnaround and threw some curveballs - hoping to all depart on the same flight (eleven people with less than two weeks of lead time) but with different return dates. This was a heavy lift, but Cheryl handled it with persistence and grace.
