About Me

I am a Sandals and Beaches Preferred Agent and a former Wedding Planner. My journey with Sandals began in 2002 when I attended my first Wedding Planning Conference at Sandals Whitehouse, now called Sandals South Coast. I fell in love with the Resort and the amazing Jamaican people.In March of 2021 I formed my own business, Knot Your Average Vacation, even though it was during Covid. I exclusively offer Sandals and Beaches Destination Weddings, Honeymoons, Vacations, and an occasional Girls Trip.My passion is to provide couples and friends with an amazing destination where they do not have to make any decisions. I take care of all the details. Clients receive a detailed itinerary approximately two weeks before departure which allows time for changes or additions. I strive to build a relationship with my clients to ensure they have the vacation of their dreams and many, I am delighted to say, are now friends.Sandals and Beaches have something for everyone and can provide the perfect destination!

We recently had the pleasure of working with Sally Pouthier from Knot Your Average Vacation for planning our trip to Sandals Negril, Jamaica. From start to finish, the experience with Sally was outstanding! Sally was knowledgeable about the destination and made the entire process so easy. She took the time to listen to our preferences and helped tailor the trip to suit our needs. She assisted with flights for those needing flight assistance in our party. She also helped facilitate resolutions on site while we were there. She helped arrange best flights, accommodations, and activities for many in our party. What stood out the most was how responsive and helpful Sally was throughout the unexpected that occurs while traveling. Whenever we had a question or needed advice, she was quick to respond and went above and beyond. Thanks to Sally and Knot Your Average Vacation for assisting with our destination wedding!
