Alaska is one of the most sought-after destinations in the world, and one of the most misunderstood. While many travelers envision a summer cruise through the Inside Passage, Alaska offers so much more. I specialize in helping clients experience Alaska in multiple ways, whether by sea, by land, or through a combination of both.
I have personally experienced Alaska in both the height of summer and the heart of winter. During the summer season, I explored the Inside Passage by cruise, visiting iconic ports and witnessing glaciers, wildlife, and coastal landscapes. In contrast, my winter experience was based in Anchorage and surrounding regions, where I explored a completely different side of Alaska — snow-covered mountains, dogsledding adventures, flightseeing near Denali, and even glimpses of the Northern Lights.
As an Anchorage Wild Expert (AWE) graduate, and through specialized training with leading cruise partners including Princess, Norwegian, and Holland America, I bring both firsthand experience and industry expertise to every Alaska itinerary I design. I understand the differences between cruise lines, land tour extensions, and independent travel options, and I help clients choose the right combination based on their travel style, timeline, and goals.
For cruise travelers, I guide clients through selecting the right itinerary, cabin type, and cruise line, as well as enhancing their trip with meaningful shore excursions and optional land extensions. For those seeking a deeper experience, I design land-based itineraries that may include Anchorage, Talkeetna, Denali, and the Kenai Peninsula, with opportunities for wildlife viewing, scenic rail journeys, and cultural experiences.
One of the most exciting and often overlooked options is winter travel in Alaska. This season offers unique experiences such as dogsledding, Northern Lights viewing, snow-covered landscapes, and fewer crowds. It provides a quieter, more immersive way to experience Alaska and is ideal for travelers looking for something beyond the traditional cruise season.
My approach to Alaska travel is both strategic and personal. I help clients navigate logistics, seasonal considerations, and must-see highlights while also tailoring each itinerary to their interests, whether that includes adventure, wildlife, photography, cultural experiences, or simply taking in the beauty of the Last Frontier.
When I say, “I travel first so you can travel best,” that philosophy is especially true in Alaska. Having experienced both the highlights and the unexpected moments — from weather changes to flight delays — I am able to better prepare my clients and ensure a smooth, well-planned journey.
Want to cruise without kids, or with the whole family? Want to chill (literally!) and just bask in the beauty, or get out and experience the Last Frontier firsthand? Whether it’s a first-time Alaska cruise, a multi-generational land and sea adventure, or a winter escape focused on the Northern Lights, I help clients experience Alaska in a way that is seamless, meaningful, and unforgettable.
