I have extensive knowledge in planning and creating wonderful and memorable vacations. I began my travel business 26 years ago as a way to stay home with my then 2 year old daughter and her younger sister who came along 5 years later. Today, I still enjoy the flexibility my business gives me to travel and be able to work from home.
I enjoy traveling myself and experiencing destinations I send my clients to. Growing up I frequently visited Disneyland resorts. I have been on 17 cruises, the latest of which was to Castaway Cay

My clients come from all walks of life and travel preferences. Whether it’s a young family wanting to travel to Disney, honeymooners looking for their perfect honeymoon and destination wedding location, or retired couples wanting to book that trip of a lifetime, I can help. Unlike some other agents who specialize in just one area of travel, I have experience with planning multiple types of vacations, like cruises (both river and ocean), Disney resort packages, all-inclusive resort vacations, and luxury travel packages.
I have several family members and friends on various ends of the Autism Spectrum, including my youngest daughter. So, I have searched for various destinations and suppliers who work with and have experience with those on the spectrum. I have taken the Certified Autism Travel Professional Training so that I can better assist those individuals and families who need specialized assistance.
I am a Certified Travel Associate (CTA) with the Travel Institute as well as a Master Cruise Counselor (MCC) through the Cruise Line International Association (CLIA). I received my Certified Travel Associate designation from the Travel Institute 15 years ago and have created 100+ vacations for my clients since then. I received my Masters Cruise Counselor designation from CLIA (Cruise Lines International Association) 8 years ago. I am also a member of Dugan's Travel's Five Star Agent Manager's Circle.

Great Cruise with Lucky Upgrade

We had efficient communication with Barbara via text as she provided us multiple quotes before we settled on our itinerary with flights to FLL. She gave us quick responses when we were picking our departure times and when we wanted to change rooms. We usually book inside cabins and our room change turned out to be quite fortunate. At check-in, they said they wanted to use one of our rooms for potential quarantining and bumped us to a balcony. Then on board, they moved our other room to another one two doors down from our new room (so that we were actually closer than our original rooms were). We didn't really hang out on our balconies , but we were able to enjoy the views. Not only did we have superior service from Barbara, but she brought us good luck too!

Quick Responder and Great Liaison

As another reviewer mentioned, Barb is quick to respond. She really does drop what she is doing to help out a client. And that is common both at planning and during the trip. Barb was very patient with me as I changed my travel dates, destinations and origin airport several times before finalizing our family vacation. She planned the perfect trip for us, and she really knows her stuff!! And, she really does help out in a pinch! We didn't find out until we got to the airport to return home that the last leg of our flight was cancelled, and we were going to be stranded several hundred miles from home. There were no other flight options. She was quick to reserve us a rental car, get a refund initiated from the airline, and help us with our travel insurance claim for the rental car...all before we landed! Just excellent service!!

Barbara came highly recommended as the agent "who knew her stuff". She was that, and much more. She was kind, thorough, and had the best prices around. She was able to secure dinner seating for us with our party long before the trip. We also had our cabin number before anyone else I know. Also, we got upgraded from the least expensive cabin to a neighborhood balcony with a partial ocean view for the minimum bid! I'm sure we will be in touch with Barbara for our future cruises!

Perfect winter get away

I was linked to Barb via Cruise Compete. I was hesitant to use an agent I didn't know, but it was a great price, so I sent her an email. I am a novice at traveling and have only been on once cruise 20 years ago, and a local agent had booked that for us.
I was very pleased with how easy it was to book our cruise and the price she was able to lock in for us. When the trip was a couple weeks out, all of our travel companions suggested we try to get cabins on the same floor, so I emailed Barb to see if it was possible and she replied almost instantly with a new confirmation with our new room. We had no issues at all and I'm sure if we had a problem Barb would have been reachable and able to solve it immediately.
