About Me

I am a wife, step-mom,Former special education teacher, Disney adult, and travel consultant all rolled into one passionate planner who truly understands families.

Like many great stories, mine began in Northeastern Ohio, where long winters fueled big dreams of warmer places and exciting adventures. While my family didn’t always have the means for far-off vacations, we were rich in experiences. Our trips were often road trips to visit family across the eastern U.S., and I loved helping my mom plan what we’d do along the way. From museums and zoos to small local fairs and hidden-gem restaurants, I discovered early on that researching and planning trips brought me almost as much joy as taking them. Those journeys—to places like St. Louis, Myrtle Beach, Charleston, West Virginia, Yellowstone, Mount Rushmore, and Cheyenne, became some of my most cherished childhood memories and laid the foundation for my love of family travel planning.

Growing up so close to two amazing parks: Cedar Point and Geauga Lake also sparked my lifelong love for amusement parks. Roller coasters, themed environments, and shared family excitement became a core part of my travel passion. After the pandemic, I rediscovered that joy and began seeking out new parks to experience with my own little family. What started as nostalgic road trips has turned into a full-fledged adventure—I’ve now ridden 139 roller coasters across 22 amusement parks, and we’re just getting started.

Of course, my story would not be complete without Disney. From worn-out VHS tapes of classic movies to dreaming about visiting the Magic Kingdom, Disney has always held a special place in my heart. As an elementary special education teacher, I see firsthand how powerful Disney stories and characters can be for children of all abilities. That connection deepened my appreciation for both the classics and the newer films my students adore. In January 2019, my love for Disney became official when my husband proposed in front of Cinderella’s Castle. Since then, Disney has become part of our family story—and even a way I celebrate major life milestones.

My professional background in special education is what truly sets me apart as a travel consultant. Earning a degree in special education and working as a teacher has given me exceptional skills in organization, flexibility, detailed planning, and individualized support. I understand that families are not one-size-fits-all—especially when traveling with children who may need extra structure, sensory-friendly options, or carefully paced itineraries. I am experienced in thinking through logistics, anticipating challenges, creating clear plans, and adapting when plans change—all essential skills for stress-free family travel. It was only natural that friends and family began turning to me for advice on hotels, theme parks, and itineraries. Planning imaginary trips became my favorite way to relax, and before long my husband jokingly called me his “personal travel agent.” That joke turned into a calling. After researching the industry and finding the right fit, I joined Off To Neverland Travel as a Magic Maker.

While I may be new to the travel industry, I am not new to planning meaningful, memory-making trips for families. Whether you’re dreaming of a magical theme park vacation, a carefully budgeted road trip, or a once-in-a-lifetime celebration, I would love to help you plan a trip that fits your family’s unique needs. My goal is simple: to take the stress out of planning, so you can focus on what matters most—making memories together.

Our 1st Disney Magic!!
Reviewed By Cooksters - Northfield, Ohio | Traveled to Walt Disney World | Florida | USA
Kristal helped plan our first family trip and it was amazing!! She is informative, immersive and understands the needs of our unique family. She was up front on costs, experiences to choose from and what challenges may be faced. The memory maker was totally worth it, our reserved meals were amazing and daily itinerary helped so much. The lightening lanes can be intimidating, but totally worth it. We made amazing memories and there is no way we could have done as much without Kristal’s help. Thank you so much for helping us experience Disney Magic!

Disneyland Summit 2025: A Celebration of Learning

Visiting the Disneyland Resort during its 70th Anniversary celebration in November 2025 was nothing short of extraordinary, and for me, it was a perfect blend of magic and mastery. I wasn’t there just to celebrate seven decades of Disneyland history (though there was plenty of pixie dust involved!). I was also there to learn, grow, and sharpen m...
