Cruising with kids!

I took a 9 day carnival cruise with my 2 boys ages, 8 and 11. My older son is on the autism spectrum so Kelly went above and beyond to make sure all our requests were meet. We boarded in Norfolk, VA and that was easy-peasy! We had two sea days where we did the ropes course, water slides, went (rubber) duck hunting, kids checked out and loved the kids club while I read a book at the adult area, serenity. All of the food was delicious! We stopped at carnival's private Island, half moon cay where Kelly arranged an excursion to swim with stingrays and a daybed. Next was Grand Turk for a beach day and lastly we stopped at Amber cove where Kelly organized a tour to monkeyland which was the highlight of the trip. We had 2 more sea days and an easy debarkation. I was nervous since my husband didn't attend due to his work schedule but everything ran smoothly beside some brotherly spats, which anyone who had kids can imagine. However, it was limited because there was so many fun activities and kids club to take part in!
