During my recent trip to Vietnam (Feb 2025 – for 2 weeks) with my wife, I used the services of Stephanie Slinn at Crossed Horizons. At first, I was a bit hesitant travelling to another country without a good understanding of the culture, customs and traditions but Stephanie made everything seamless. I was very happy with the recommendations, direction and guidance of planning all the activities together. I enjoyed the flexibility to do some of these activities on our own, and/ or with a guide. Everything was at our pace and allowed us to plan around the weather. We always felt safe and enjoyed the markets and local meals on a daily basis. We had an unforgettable 10-day adventure through Sri Lanka, and we’re so grateful to Stephanie for helping plan every detail! From Colombo to Galle Fort, Tissamaharama, Ella, Kandy, and Sigiriya, the trip was perfectly paced and packed with highlights. We loved exploring the ancient ruins of Polonnaruwa, climbing Sigiriya Rock, visiting the Temple of the Tooth, and relaxing in the Royal Botanic Gardens. The train ride from Ella to Kandy was a true highlight, as was our safari in Yala National Park where we spotted wild elephants and even leopards! The food was incredible—curry, kottu roti, egg hoppers—we enjoyed every bite. Our stays ranged from a lakeside treehouse to a cozy home in the tea fields. Whether by car, train, or tuk-tuk, every day brought something new and exciting. Stephanie made the whole experience seamless and stress-free. Highly recommend her if you're planning a trip to Sri Lanka!

Stephanie helped us plan a trip to Bangkok to kickoff a larger tour in Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam. She found us a fantastic hotel in a great location, gave some excellent local eats recommendations and ensured we had an itinerary to visit some of the highlights of the city. We were jetlagged and culture shocked and Stephanie ensured we had plans that were a perfect pace to explore a new place comfortably.
