Cruise, Group, & FIT Travel Specialist
After 24 years in public education as a high school science teacher, school counselor, school administrator, and district Federal Programs Director, I bring a calm, thoughtful, and highly personalized approach to travel planning. My clients tend to be knowledgeable, curious couples and families who value meaningful experiences, smart planning, and excellent value for their investment—without sacrificing quality for cost. They also value their time and recognize that working with a travel advisor is the most efficient way to turn great ideas into well-designed, enriching trips. They want their travel to feel worthwhile and thoughtfully crafted, and they appreciate having a trusted professional handle the details.
My love of travel began early in life. With several family members serving in the U.S. Navy, I grew up moving frequently and traveling across the country to visit loved ones. These experiences shaped my appreciation for new environments, regional culture, and the subtle differences that make each destination unique. To date, I have personally visited 47 of the 50 U.S. states and four Canadian provinces, and I’ve planned multiple extended family road trips lasting 10–14 days each.
Although I officially launched my travel agency in 2025, I have been planning and booking travel for over 15 years in various capacities. Throughout my career in education, I regularly attended conferences and always found myself enjoying the research, itinerary-building, and logistics as much as the trip itself. I have also led groups in major U.S. cities such as Chicago, New York, and Los Angeles, gaining firsthand experience with group travel planning, timing, and destination flow.
What truly sets me apart is my non-sales approach. I am not a pushy agent—and I never want my clients to feel like they are being “sold” a trip. My counseling background allows me to listen carefully, ask the right questions, and help travelers clarify what they really want out of an experience. Some clients come to me with a fully formed idea, and I am perfectly happy to take that vision and make it happen seamlessly. Others aren’t quite sure what they want—and I love helping them discover it.
I specialize in thoughtful, well-paced travel: guided group trips, cruises, and multi-stop road trips lasting six days or more. I focus on trips that prioritize meaningful exploration, learning, scenery, and connection over nightlife or party-driven itineraries. If you enjoy understanding a place—not just visiting it—you’ll feel right at home working with me.
I resist limiting myself to one geographic specialty, because I have the confidence, research skills, and industry knowledge necessary to book travel anywhere in the world. I am a natural researcher and problem-solver, and I truly enjoy learning about destinations as I design trips. Sometimes my knowledge naturally becomes part of the conversation, and for many travelers, that’s a welcome bonus—especially if they’re looking for ideas or inspiration. But my priority is always the same: creating a travel experience that fits you, not me.
Privacy and trust matter deeply to me. I treat every client’s travel plans with discretion and respect, because I believe your experiences are yours to share—or not—on your own terms.
I am especially drawn to destinations that feel one-of-a-kind: places that can only be experienced in a few locations on Earth. I appreciate both urban and rural landscapes, domestic and international travel, and everything from biologically rich environments to historic cityscapes. If there’s a sweeping view involved, I’m sold. Some of my favorite moments include observing the New York City skyline from the base of the Statue of Liberty, looking out over Lake Michigan and the city of Chicago from the observation floor of the Hancock Building, gazing into the Grand Canyon, overlooking Yosemite Valley, admiring the beauty of Alaskan glaciers from a cruise ship, and taking in the vast beauty of Monument Valley.
If you are looking for a travel advisor who values depth over hype, clarity over pressure, and thoughtful planning over rushed decisions, I would be honored to help you design your next journey.
