Lina took my suggestions for a trip to the Philippines, selected just the right tour to join and also customized the rest of the trip. She filled in all of the gaps: best flights, best fit for hotels and great suggestions. She answered all of my endless and silly questions very promptly (and while on international travel herself). Working with Lina to plan my once-in-a-lifetime trip to Antarctica was an exceptional experience. The South Pacific region has been very high on my list for a very long time. As someone who loves to travel for cultural immersion, Lina was able to select Papua New Guinea during the Goroka Festival as the destination for me. I wanted something that really gave me a good understanding of the diverse and sometime complicated culture of the region as well as some time exploring the stunning beaches the region is known for - and that is how we landed on PNG! For the itinerary Lina set me up so that I would be in Goroka for the full duration of the Goroka Festival (one of the largest cultural festivals in the country) where different tribes from all over the country gather in one location showing off their traditional music, dances, and outfits, and then included some relaxation time at a resort in Rabaul where I was able to snorkel with a super pod of dolphins, relax on the sandbars, and spend some time learning about the WWII history of the region. I was apprehensive at first about some of the potential safety factors in the country, but Lina assured me these were safe locations so long as I took the normal precautions and followed the advice of the local guides, and I had no issues whatsoever! All of the people I encountered were absolutely lovely and welcoming. I'm so glad I had Lina plan this trip rather than trying to sort it out on my own! Lina was able to find me a great company to travel through that had really informative guides, provided a Letter of Invitation for the visa and Visa application support. The infrastructure in the country is not as developed as I would have thought which did lead to airline delays, Lina was able to handle everything for me to make sure I did not miss out on any key parts of my trip. After watching how some people who were trying to figure things out on their own were having limited success, it really reassured me that I was in expert hands and had made the right choice by working with her.

Lina has such an incredibly vast knowledge of the Amazon and similar regions and we talked in length about which option was right for me. She presented me with the option of the Tambopata region in Peru due to the sections of untouched primary rainforest, the mineral clay licks for prime Macaw and Parrot viewing, and the remoteness and feeling of being off the beaten path. She set me up with a local guide who was born and raised in the area. The guide was so impressive with his skills to locate and point out wildlife. He could hear a dart frog the size of a quarter in a pile of logs, and locate it with ease to show it to us. The guide Lina chose for me was so invested in making sure we really made the most out of our time and really went out of his way to make sure we had the best opportunities for wildlife viewing. The lodges were all stunning with comfortable rooms nestled in the heart of the jungle. One of the lodges even has a research centre attached to it and has opportunities for citizen science projects! Being an amateur hobbyist photographer, Lina even was able to advise me on what kind of photography equipment to bring. I can't wait to work with Lina again in the future to plan more jungle adventures.

Lina is truly a polar travel expert. Having been to Antarctica once before I thought I knew what to look for in an Expedition, but I am so glad I reached out to Lina! When I mentioned that I wanted to go to Antarctica, she made it happen. She was there from the beginning to the end, down to every little detail. All of my flights, accommodations, cruise ship information and all expeditions were all set to my needs. I had nothing to worry about except showing up and packing my bag. Lina also sent me a packing list that helped me out immensely! This trip was worry free and I got to thoroughly enjoy the quietness and beauty of an amazing continent that very few people will ever see. I will definitely be using her for all my travels in the future!
