A global adventurer myself, my passion is sharing the world with others by introducing foods, cultures, adventure and relaxation in new ways. 

I do this by offering personalized planning for each client.  Whether it's a weekend getaway, assistance with a cruise or flights, or a year long trip around the world, I am doing what I love when I help plan the perfect vacation for you. I work with several groups, including families, schools, adults only and community service logistics as well as individuals and couples and families.

I've been in the travel business for ...well forever; first as an air traffic controller (my extensive knowledge of air ticketing comes from that phase of life), then as a travel planner since 2012. While I offer services for solo guests, I also plan for large groups and everything in between. I help to organize the details for unstressed travel whether you are taking on leadership of a group or exploring as an adventurist yourself.

I particularly enjoy planning more complicated destinations that aren't easily purchased "on line", insuring that details are taken care of during and after the sale.  Clients return and refer - there is no greater compliment.  My greatest passion lies in the Pacific region where I specialize in New Zealand/Australia, Hawaii, Tahiti and the Polynesian Islands as well as Japan and Thailand.

While I have visited more than 70 countries, my favorite recent destinations (and specialties) have included:

• French Polynesia including Tahiti and Bora Bora
• Japan and the Far East
• New Zealand and Australia
• The Hawaiian Islands
• Italy and Europe

I continually strive to increase my knowledge about world travel and completed certification training for the countries above as well as several more. 

My recent travels include a small ship cruise in Tahiti, a family trip to Italy, safari in Sri Lanka, pilgrimages to Israel, family trips to Florida and an expedition ship in Alaska.  I also took three trips to New Zealand (one work, one play and one to ski), where I jumped off the highest building in the country and landed precisely in the bulls eye on the ground.  I hiked the Inca Trail in Peru for five days in pursuit of a breathtaking view of Machu Picchu from the Sun Gate at sunrise (the hike was really really hard but I did it and you could too).  I took a 5 year old to Washington DC to see Abe Lincoln, who's fingers form his initials in sign language.  I still manage to work at least full time and more to create great itineraries and take care of the details for you, my clients.  It's what I do, because it's what I love.

Other travel highlights:

• river cruising in Europe (much different than the Mekong in Cambodia, or the Amazon River, which I experienced too). 
• my fifth trip to Japan (there's just so much to see and do),
• kayaking and hiking in Baja Mexico on a 60 guest ship
• motorcycle trip in Southern Spain (yes, I was a passenger and I wore my helmet).
• climbing the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu.
• planning trips for multiple groups worldwide.
• being known as the "go to girl" for travel needs for schools and other groups locally and across the country.

My most memorable travel moments:

• Snorkeling in the South Pacific where the water is a constant 80 degrees year round.
• Giving away my bracelet to a woman on the Amazon who acted like it was the greatest gift she had ever received (was it?).
• Seeing my 7 year olds face at her first glimpse of The David in Florence.
• In Cambodia, seeing children search the corn fields catching the white mice.  Grandpa was at the fire pit, ready to drop them into boiling water to prep for the kids meals.  Meanwhile, a teenage girl sat on the steps of a stick house talking on a cell phone.  We were many miles from electricity and there wasn't refrigeration or sewerage, yet an old car battery kept the phone charged.  
• Hiking the Na Pali Coast in Kauai, Hawaii.
