Adventures in Barcelona!

When did my love and passion for travel start?

I was 10 years old, on my first trip with my parents, to Disneyland in California. And I was hooked on travel.

Since then I’ve been on escorted and independent tours to several countries in Europe (Austria, Azores, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Spain … ), I’ve travelled to the East and West coasts of Canada, and provinces in between.

I’ve enjoyed the history, villages and castles on a River cruises, I’ve enjoyed snorkelling, scuba diving, doing nothing but read a good book on a quiet beach, enjoyed the sun & sand at all-inclusive Caribbean resorts. I even traded in my sunscreen & swimsuit for head-to-toe snow gear for fresh, crispy cold weather for downhill skiing and snowshoeing in Canada.

To me, travel is not only a destination, but a journey. It awakens all my senses and I take in the experiences, the culture, the people, the languages, and meet wonderful future travel companions.

After a successful corporate career, I’m eager to focus my detailed research and planning skills exclusively on the passion I have for travel, that started with my first Disneyland trip.
