This trip helped us reconnect with our heritage in ways we didn’t know we needed. We felt supported every step of the way, and completely at peace knowing everything was handled with care. We can’t say enough good things about our recent trip to Puerto Escondido. From the very beginning, they truly listened to what we were looking for: surf, yoga, and amazing Mexican food, and somehow managed to craft a trip that exceeded every expectation. We stayed at a beautiful boutique hotel just steps from the beach, with the perfect balance of chill and comfort. Emily booked us into daily surf lessons with incredibly patient instructors (we're both beginners), and even lined up yoga sessions in a jungle shala that felt like something out of a dream. And the food! Emily gave us a custom Google Map filled with local taquerías, mezcalerías, and beachside spots that only locals know about. We ate well to say the least. Every detail was thoughtfully handled: airport transfers, local recommendations, even the timing of our activities to avoid the midday heat. We felt taken care of the entire time, but still had the freedom to explore on our own.

We headed to Morocco for a week—and Chefchaouen was first on our list. It’s as dreamy as the photos: peaceful, blue-washed streets, amazing views, and a great place to unwind. But it’s also super small, so after a few days, we felt ready for something more lively. We spent the rest of our trip in Casablanca and loved it. The culture, the art, the food—so rich and full of life. Total contrast to Chefchaouen, and exactly what we didn’t know we needed. Perfect balance of chill + culture. Highly recommend doing both! I asked Emily to plan a solo escape, and she nailed it. Las Terrenas was exactly what I needed—laid-back beaches, colorful local life, and just the right balance of adventure and relaxation. Emily helped to book my trip for when my wife and I came up from Long Island to visit our daughter who’s currently a student at Syracuse University. We chose this hotel for its location and amenities, and it did not disappoint. The staff was friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, and we had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We even learned a few local tips and hidden gems we were able to share with our daughter—turns out we taught her a thing or two!
